How many Zeds left?
did you take into account... if 1 in 3 zeds you see are club members... how many members zeds are 'off the road'. from that we could also assume that for every members car that is off the road, there are another 2... bumps the figure up somewhat?

amazing fact of the day...
ryanair have built their own hangar next door to us now so we dont really see them anymore  though, it will give me great pleasure to attach your message to a brick and launch it over the fence into 1 of their 737 cockpit windows! any other airline would probably be higher by the time they got over your house, but because ryanair cram in as many people as they can they normally weigh more lol... they have even experimented removing the rear galley and toilet to put more seats behind the rear doors. count yourself lucky hes at 2000ft by the time he goes over your house, if i threw a stone from my house, id hit some1 @ check in! as i work nights, when im on shift, il use any excuse to do full power ground runs just to keep kaz awake muhaHahHAa :smw: then i get a text saying 'shut the f*** up ffs'!!

Need somewhere to store the ZED?...
But the mrs has filled up the garage with junk..? FEAR NOT... THIS is your solution... 'The garage uses a silent hydraulic platform which can be hidden under a water feature, flowerbed or patch of gravel – or even a second car.' Prices from 42k up to 48k plus VAT. Doubles as somewhere to lock the kids up!

Nissan V Blueprint ... Cambelt showdown
how do we know the nissan timing marks are correct  would be interesting to compare the timing marks on 2 nissan belts as the marking position might not have a very tight tolerances? on another note, how about a comparison to the so called 'performance belts' such as a greddy belt for quality and timing marks?

variable valve timing...
yeah i think il try that... cheerZ chap :D
-
variable valve timing...
thinking about it... does the vvt solenoid valve just slip out of the end after removing them 2 bolts?
-
variable valve timing...
i have developed a very small oil leak from the left bank vvt solenoid... looking at this picture, it has a liquid gasket on it, not a rubber seal like the front. you reckon i could slap a bead of sealant around the area to reseal or is a strip down and reseal the only way forward for this old girl?
-
variable valve timing...
lol of course :headvswal
-
variable valve timing...
can any1 tell me if there is a vvt solenoid valve at the end of both camshafts? i always thought there was but this diagram seems to suggest there is only 1 on the right bank...

amazing fact of the day...
the hydraulic systems on the aircraft i work with (such as an a320) have operating pressures of around 3000psi, the new a380 has hydraulic systems that run @ 6000psi. even @ 3000psi, if there is a pinhole in a supply pipe, the fine leak jet could quite easily cut through some pretty hefty materials, your fingers would be cut off like butter... the other day i found an interesting little fact about the new vw golf engine. the modern vw golf deisel engine injectors have a delivery pressure of 1800bar!!! that is not a typo, it is indeed over 26,000 PSI strewth!
