  1. Wasn't it also bent?
  2. 3 weeks into "Operation: Paint Perfection". I've learnt so much and am getting pretty good at it, spend a fortune and now have a stupidly vast collection of products and gear! I've taken Slickpete's "polisher" title and run with it!
  3. End of July then, I know how these things work! [emoji1]
  4. I bought mine in the first UK preorder back in 2011. It didn't arrive until July 2012 though. Here is the original feedback thread: http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?162950-TwinZ-twinchip-feedback
  5. My word that's a terrible fit! Apologies for the poor pics, I just popped out to the garage to take them but for reference, here is my one fitted. It took no bodies pushing down on it to make it fit and had no heating, cutting or modifying.
  6. Can you show us a picture of the fitment?
  7. The rear lights are held in with nuts, bonding them in will just give you an unnecessary headache when/if the times comes to remove them again. The gloop is just to provide a water right weather seal, a non-setting sealant as Chris suggested is the way forward.
  8. Hmmm, I hope the quality of the twinz gear isn't winding down now they have established a good reputation. I bought my type 1 in the original group buy so it would've been one of the first few out of the mould. When I offered it up to the car, the fitment was near perfect. Tenfold better than the OEM fitment and various other aftermarket replicas I had tried. Not only did it fit great but the quality of the materials and construction was very good in comparison to other aftermarket fibreglass products available. It definitely feels like a premium product. When my bodyshop painted it, they said that it will require no fitment prep or alteration whatsoever, other than sanding down a fine casting line from the mould. Sure enough when I bonded it on, it fit like a glove! A very rewarding component to fit when rebuilding the car.
  9. I've seen some quality garden gates over the years and those cast iron manhole covers last forever!! [emoji13]
  10. August 14th, that's the only day I have free that month [emoji106]
  11. My word Howard, that is close!
  12. Hmm, they are AD rivets though Andrew. I wouldn't recommend those for this application! :p
  13. Not a fan of the tax disc holder.
  14. Happy Birthday Lee
  15. Totally unmodified car: - red Z badge - stainless steel exhaust - non oem wheels - 99spec spoiler - "perforated brake discs" - clear side repeaters Am I being pedantic? As mentioned, to command that price I think you need a better written ad with more details and much better photos. I do wish the seller the best of luck to get that much for it though.
  16. Check the first post, the names have been steadily creeping up [emoji41]
  17. Be great to see you out and about again Jason, it's been far too long! Another Boxhill - Brighton run is in order me thinks!
  18. Fingers crossed. I'm going to give them a call today and nudge up our stand size a little as we have a few additions! [emoji41]
  19. That sounds awesome [emoji57]
  20. Wow, good stuff.
  21. Has everyone received their exhibitor passes for this? If not pm me your email and I'll send one over [emoji106]
  22. Looks like you rescued that slicktop just in time [emoji106]
  23. Happy Birthday Paul [emoji482]
  24. That's fine, you have permission for the 3rd bank for the fogs. You'll only ever turn them on for the MOT man anyway!
  25. If you do, only do 2 sets per side [emoji16]
