  1. Yep no problem I'll be sure to print out the guides on here and give it to them, thanks.
  2. Thanks for the tips Jeff. I will purchase a new one, are they the same fit/size for turbos/non turbos ? I won't take to Bristol too far, I'll use the guys round corner from me who I usually use of (southern cross garage) they help get import zeds on the road from Japan and I've used them for my manual gearbox conversion so they are clued up and helpful, just slow sometimes
  3. Thanks for the replys. I don't think I fancy trying to (and docking up) this myself. Where is jimmer ? First of all going to have to purchase a new core, any recommendations? Or just the usual ebay/breakers etc - - - Updated - - - *cocking up

  5. Hi mate, well the new one I got is also wrong, its from a late model 98/99 by the looks of it, my car is a 95 and my friends which uses same squib is a 96 so its that era part I need. The garage are going to try and see if they can get it to fit somehow but if it wont ill be needing to find another one, what year is the NA your breaking ?

  8. No the steering is very much an old style non airbag one The horn was not working because of the broken slip ring so mot fail
  9. Hi there I am in urgent need of a Squib / slip ring to get my car through the mot. I ordered one on ebay which turned out to be wrong. I also visited a scrap yard today and removed a squib which was also the wrong one so went away empty handed. My car is a '95 'M' Non airbag It must be the same as the one in the pictures of my old one Please see pics Price and P&P please if you can help Many Thanks Patrick
  10. Sorry you are right I got the wrong end of the stick from my guys at the garage. The indicators are now working no problem. However they have informed me the squib was shorting out and is faulty, they have disconnected it for me for now as it was actually a fire hazard and I need to replace it.
  11. It is this: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-300ZX-Z32-AIRBAG-MODEL-HICAS-SENSOR-Squib-clock-spring-Slip-ring/382431987856?hash=item590ab90890:g:trYAAOSwCtJaaHcz it controls the indicators But the 2 on ebay are advertised as being for airbag models and mine is not
  12. where can you buy them jeff? I would prefer just all black and black stitching. The red one would suit yours! the gearbox came with nothing so the one on there was a cheap solution from ebay so I could drive the car!
  13. either would be fine if I'm all up and running I will try attend
  14. I use a garage only 5 mins from where I live called Southern Cross Garage , Japanese and and German specialists, they service new import Z's for a local guy who sells them and they have done all work I have required for my Z and always done a smashing job, for me Portsmouth is only a 30 min drive so easy for you to get to. Website here: http://www.southerncrossgarage.co.uk/

  20. No one out there got a spare clutch pedal, NA or TT ? this is the only thing holding me up now really frustrating :(
  21. Thanks all for your reply's and very helpful information and advice, i will just see what pedal i can get and work with that, i do not mind if its a bit heavy if anyone has one for sale or knows someone let me know, many thanks
  22. Hi Richie i have been informed in the other thread that its more down to personal preference of which one i go with, would you be able to tell me what you have and prices, shipping etc? Many Thanks Patrick
  23. I'm honestly not sure so ive made a new thread for advice
  24. I am in the process of a Auto-Manual gearbox conversion on my Nissan 300 I have made a thread about needing a clutch pedal but when I was asked turbo or non turbo I hit a brickwall and need some input Its getting kind of complicated, and the person I bought the box off dident give me the clutch pedal, so I'm going to text him about that but I'm not relying on getting one from him anyway the car is a 1995 Japanese Non Turbo Auto model, the gearbox is shot so its being replaced with a Manual gearbox which came off a turbo car , and is being fitted with a brand new turbo clutch and flywheel which matches up fine, however upon investigation it looks like the box is possibly a non turbo box that has been machined to fit a turbo flywheel as there are marks that suggest this. Therefore I have 2 questions; Which clutch pedal do I need for this situation? non turbo or turbo? (I will text person I got kit off and ask if he has pedal, but if no luck I need to get elsewhere) Also what shim spacing do I need to make my non turbo starter motor fit with the non turbo (but modified) gearbox and turbo clutch/flywheel Thoughts greatly appreciated!
  25. ok ill find out which one we need Do u have both for sale?
