check all the little hoses and perhaps get your mechanic to pressurise the cooling system to see if he can find any leaks ! but on the other hand if your dipstick is popping out you have bigger probs

yes matey any scrap yard will give you about £30 each if they are in good nick

he has had the new engine fitted now then rang me so i could help him get it going on the phone because his mechanic couldnt then he rang me again to say that the new engine is knocking so i am waiting on the outcome now so its all a bit up in the air at the moment. :cry:

yes remove the throttle cover and you will see where the two fuel rails join there are two clips check those if not and the rest are all tight check the piping to the carbon canister

I tought they were pretty easy to do but the locking pins for the targas are just stuck to the glass so if you remove them you will have trouble getting them to stick back on securely. Just cut around them the job doesn't have to be perfect anyway as no body looks up at them and the roofs have black edges.
