  1. Does anyone have these or know much about them? There's not much info on the JWT site but they seem quite cheap. Chris.
  2. I've still not received mine Tim. Did you send them?
  3. LMFAO Yeah right! Must be like the supercharged Cavalier and Calibra that we wupped on the way to Trax last year in convoy with PaulG and Macca. They disappeared into the distance in the rearview mirror at 165mph as we backed off! ... and WE have pictures to prove it LOL
  4. Yes but not the Mini Cooper and Z that we were talking about! ;)
  5. I'm not sure about the autobox fault but it sounds like a solenoid or something not changing up. Probably time for a rebuild :( The turbos should really be replaced as a pair because it's usually an engine out job to replace them and they will both be in a similar state of wear. Theres no point putting the engine back and the other one going a couple of months later. SE are still trading but they don't have a website any more. The HICAS problem sounds odd but could be a faulty speed sensor on the auto box or even that the auto box is confusing itself/the ECU because it's not changing correctly. It might go away when you fix the box. All I can say is it all sounds expensive! I'm in a similar situation needing a new engine and box. Chris.
  6. Are the doors different to the 2+2?
  7. I get the same, not sure if the rides are editable since they moved to the temporary server.
  8. Go to http://www.maplin.co.uk On the left menu click Tools, Service Aids, Lubricants, Multi Purpose Silicon Grease I presume that is what you are after mate.
  9. Sometimes you can peel the rubber tint off and put it on a new bulb but on mine they were stuck on. You can use a normal bulb and paint it with blue nail varnish or the stuff used for stained glass colouring. It looks a bit too bright if you put the clear bulbs straight in.

LMFAO! :D Tell your G string wearing bird to get off my Z! Did Peter spray it to match your car?
  11. They are very similar cars... LOL
  12. If anyone wants to, please feel free to flash at Micras, Almeras and Primeras too :D You have my permission, if you feel you need it ;)
  13. You would need something like 8.5" rims with 255/25/20 front, 10" rims with 285/25/20 rears and you would need a lot of work doing to get them on the car. I think you'll find the tyres hard to get hold of and even from a specialist online discount supplier you won't get much change from £1500 for tyres alone. When you only get about 6000 miles out of 'em that's probably £3000 a year if you are doing an average mileage! That's as much as your £3K Z cost you to buy! :D :D :D A VERY cheap set of 20" wheels will be over £1K too I would think. I'd get a NICE set of 18" ones and much more reasonable tyres. Go above 18" and the tyre prices go through the roof. Another advantage is you won't look like one of the Nova boys with wheels far too big for the car just so you can say you've got 20's! ;)

The 300zx.co.uk colour logo appears on my T68i when forum mates call (Sad!) LOL If you want I can mail it to you. You can download the software off the Sony Ericsson site to upload it to your phone. I'd picture message it to you but I haven't got that service :( There's some nice logo's inc a Z one at http://www.esato.com
  18. Sounds like someone wired a speed convertor there? Is it a Jap import?
  19. Yes and it's not nice! :D
  20. Glad to hear you are both OK, sounds like a miracle you're not in hospital or worse :(
  21. LOL good then?
  22. LMFAO! :D :D :D I thought I might be able to persuade you down the path of supercar vs family 4x4!
  23. This is a common problem but I can't find the link on how to fix it. Try a search of the forum.
  24. It's from the Z Centre or Paul Bailey. Double vented - hole in the bonnet and underneath the windscreen. It made a noticeable drop in temperature around the engine. http://www.zcentre.co.uk/bonnetbulges/zc010a.htm
  25. If you are using a boost controller is there any point in having it? The ECU can't reduce boost and just retards the ignition so why not disable the sensor and listen out for detonation at low revs?
