  1. New stereo and fascia fitted yesterday. [emoji16] Had a look at the rest of the car and decided it's time to replace the engine mounts and all the suspension bushes. So if anyone has links to decent bushes and stuff it'll be greatly received. Also been offered a red TT this morning for £1k [emoji85] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I'll gladly join in on this one. Be one hell of a trek from Arundel but I'm game Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I'll try my best to attend. But can't guarantee due to shift work and haven't got my rota yet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Future proofing dude. Project is starting with the clutch. Going to be an expensive year for me. Brakes and brake lines next month. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I got paid today and decided it's time to start my project. Might have got a bit happy with The Z Centre [emoji15] At least I won't have to drop the gearbox after hopefully. And my double din stereo fascia. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. That's what I was thinking with the tailgate Richard. Keep the cost down. Cheaper to get sprayed that fight with the rust. Water has been getting in so who knows what evil lurks beneath the skin. Alic. I'll take you up on that along with the other stuff. Need to arrange a date to come up and collect it all. ☺[emoji1360] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Right. Today I've been out with the Z. She's looking tired and in need of some serious work. Mechanically I should be able to cover all bases. But body work wise. I need help. She's going to need a full respray but I can only see the top surface. I have a problem with rust as the previous owners didn't treat it right and during the 11 years of their ownership neglected it. The two picture below show my 'Temporary Repair' to stop water getting into the car. One shows the near side bottom corner of the rear windshield glass in the tailgate and the second near side top of the windscreen. I have dug out the poor previous attempt carried out by previous using clear bathroom sealant [emoji19] I have dried it out the best I can and resealed with black silicone the I use to do temp repairs on the roadside on broken cars etc. This is by all means a bodge. What I am looking for is someone near to Littlehampton. With the knowledge of these cars and come and have a look at mine and tell me what I really need to do. Spring and summer are fast approaching and I want to make some serious headway into this car and it problems. Help a fellow out here guys. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Ahhhhh the PM I was supposed to send? Possibly. Can't remember. I'm forgetful haha Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I don't think it's the clocks. Possibly the kmph to mph converter thing. I'll buy a new solenoid and see if that makes any difference. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Was nice to meet you all. Had a great time. Apologies I was late and didn't get round to introducing myself to everyone. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Yea man that's all good by me. I can get up to come and have a raid and trade cash for parts [emoji1360] Let me know closer to the time and we can arrange it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Going to be late but I'm coming. Car won't be clean or anything. I've overslept big time as didn't finish work like 8 this morning. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Productive day today. Installed HIDs and LED sidelights. Sitting there having a smoke I felt it was missing something. So in four hours I created a two wiring looms and altered the indicator units to give me the US running lights. I'm well chuffed with the result. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I have a shopping list if anyone can help me out tomorrow. List is as follows. Exterior- Scuttle panels Offside window regulator Interior- Lighting control cowling as I have a rather nasty red switch on it Heater control unit 1990 (screen doesn't work on mine) Tunnel trim for gearstick and hand brake (mines cracked) Clock Advice on how to sort my speedo out as it's had mph conversion but speedo chooses when it wants to work. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I'll get there around then. I have a glorious night shift tonight as well [emoji849] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. I know the table is booked for 1530hrs but what time are you all aiming to arrive for? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  18. The yellow is nice. But I must say I love the Original grey in mine. Bare with the picture. The car is getting resprayed in the spring. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Have we got a time to arrive for this yet?
  20. Cheers man will look into it. Sorry Mondo for hijacking your thread [emoji15]
  21. I may have to try and get to you before that happens. Either in the car or van lol [emoji848]
  22. Been looking and I'm not going to spend a fortune. So OE would be the route there. Not going to be doing anything crazy in the engine for a while. Waiting on a price to come back from the paint shop first.
  23. Haha. Assuming you have a ton of spares then bud. Gimme a few days and I'll have a good hunt over the car. It's just little bits atm. Will give you a shout though. Cheers
  24. Ok. I'll search him out dude. I've got a growing list of bits I need for it. The more I look the more I need lol. Joys of it being laid up for two years and owned by an old couple for the last decade. I'm sure you guys will be able to point me in the right direction for stuff when you see the car etc
  25. Same goes for me but I have an '91 N/A. Best clutch kit for that?
