  1. As been said. No interest in weddings or that strange game where grown men roll around crying at the slightest contact. So I’ll stick me and the family down. Will be two cars but one is a VW so we don’t need to worry about it. 1. GSC +6 2. Craig 3. Kgonzokia 4. Edd + 3 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. As said yesterday Brooklands would be a good place to go as the museum itself is very interesting and I’m sure that they would accommodate us on a Saturday or Sunday. Maybe we could also think about Wings and Wheels at Dunsfold, Surrey as it’s a good event and pretty central to everyone in the southern regions. There’s a museum on the A22 over your way Ash. Thinks it’s the Bentley motor museum. Not sure what’s there but could be a day out for those of us in the south east. Doesn’t have to be big events either I guess we can just meet up for sat/sun drives. Meet for breakfast stop for lunch and possibly dinner. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Yesterday was an interesting day for me and the Z. After it miraculously passed her MOT last weekend I thought I’d pay some attention to her as even though she’s used daily I haven’t given her much love during the winter. Tightened the squealing aux belts as they were loose and went to change the front discs as they were deemed dangerous in MOT. Thought I might be able to fit the donor TT ones for now as for various reasons I’m out of work until the end of this month. That idea back fired as the TT discs are wider than the NA ones. Couldn’t change the calipers either as no spare brake lines and the NA fixings are seized. Stupid things. Feel like one step forward leads to 3 back with this car. Also got an issue with the horns. When it rains heavy the horn sets itself off which is interesting at 3am running outside to unplug the sods. The neighbours love me haha. They’ve been detached until I find the fault caused by water egress. This year has some serious plans with my engine build and the car is also now booked into the body shop for a total overhaul on a rotisserie. And a few secret things involving bodywork and aesthetic adjustments. But for now I will return to be quiet and graft away to make all this happen. Watch this space gents [emoji16] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Think I’ve said I’ll be there. Even if I have to beg borrow and steal petrol money. Being out of work for 5 weeks is killing me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I watched this on their FB page yesterday and I was disappointed I’m not at this stage of the project yet however it’s definitely something I will be following as a RHD version may appear if there’s enough interest from us and other RHD countries. As Nick has said ‘customisable’ definitely made me listen more. Made to order and to suit our individual requirements is a awesome little touch. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. So is mine but the car is booked in for total respray at end of year so it’ll pull through. Enjoy making the car yours dude Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Welcome on board dude. It’s a buy you won’t regret. They have their niggles but they are a true driving car in my opinion Edd Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. May have to enquiry about my own ideas that I would like. Work is definitely second to none. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the builds Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. That’s incredible Mondo. I can’t imagine the hours that have gone into it but it’s totally paid off. The seats are just how I’d like mine in the future. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Haha. It stopped raining shortly after you left. The other half laughed because I was soaked to the bone Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Beaulieu? AGM? Oh wait you had my donors bonnet lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. She does indeed. You would of had a heart attack if you saw it before [emoji15] I really like the wheels. Had a few offers on them but not for sale ‘yet’. [emoji57] plans for the TT conversion and Frankenstein project need to progress a lot more first. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Carried out a winter detox so far today. Cleans up pretty well for a 91 JDM that wasn’t overly looked after before it came to my possession. Shame I have to use her as a daily atm. But normal car went bang before winter. Cleaning the old girl has given me a renewed enthusiasm for the project and I’m really looking forward to better weather and longer days. 14. As title suggests would it be an idea to do something for the region before the year is out? Or is it too late to organise anything? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. You have a pm dude Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Got it out with a hoist. Yet to buy a stand. But yes mighty heavy fully dressed. Shuffled it around in the garage. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. And hoist Ali lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Got bumper gone makes life easier. I sort of found a yank site stating 360 pounds. Either way a half ton hoist and stand will be more than capable I think. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Here's one that may be a little tricky. Or I could be wrong. What's the weight of the TT engine. Trying to work out what the best Engine Stand is too buy. Thought I'd narrow it down a little by hopefully finding the weight of the engine. Cheers in advance guys. [emoji4] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Just asked the better half and I got a generic no got the lounge but man cave/garage is a yes [emoji57][emoji57] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Available for all weekends except the two Saturdays, 9th and 23rd as have to work half day. Afternoon evening would be ok Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Anywhere that runs an ignition live. Fuse it though. Could always buzz off the 12v inside. To many choices dude. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Strangely enough yes. But there's concrete hard standing and pavement in between. Always an option haha Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Getting the Edd Cave ready slowly. So much more for dump or loft. Move stuff around to utilise floor space and few more racks on walls etc. Then to work out how to run power to garage from three houses away [emoji15] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. I'm pretty flexible when it comes to Sundays. So I'm happy with whenever. I'll fit in around everyone else. But bacon sandwiches and a drive then lunch sounds good to me [emoji4][emoji4] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
