I've got my boost controller & tubby timer in the spare DIN slot on the stereo. Bit crap looking at the moment - but i'm also thinking of where to install them as i've got a 8" touch screen waiting to go into the stereo slots :confused: J

Hi all, I'm debating on upgrading the disk on my Sky+ box, its out of warranty so not too bothered what happens to it. Question - has anyone done this? Its an amstrad box & i want to fit a spare Maxtor 120gb drive. I know about the hidden installation menu & to do a full reset then a planner rebuild. But can i copy the existing saved programs on my current disk? J

depends on your version of the CD mate corp serials dont work on retail CD's But yeah they use a spreadsheet - its a bit more complicated than that. J

Agreed - i've got 2 laptops on XP Pro 1 win2000 server & 2 desktops on XP home - all legal. I know several people who have worked at M$ all said they have the ability to track illegal coppies - they are really cracking down on cracked software. J

Warning though most don't work, plus i wouldn't use the update site - IP's are logged to Serial numbers. J
