  1. i used to run a PUg205Gti as my daily drive, but its a little money pit, so i thought sod it , why keep the Z for summers and weekend drives only, since its such a waste, its not going to appreciate in value, only depciate, so i though may as well use it and enjoy it. so my Z has now become my daily drive and with Biz class insurance been at only £450 fully comp, then it becomes a no brainer really, as everyone has said, only down site is fuel, but hey the good far outway the bad..... the Pug will end up been my weekend toy when i finally get the running sorted, ironic or what.... :headvswal
  2. from what i recall, the tyre place needs a special tool to lock the rear-wheel stear while they do the adjustments, since i talked with Nissan dealer once about this and say sent me of to Honda (mmm go figure) who turned round and said they needed the special Nissan locking tool, which of course Nissan didn't have, so for me i'm still looking for someplace who knows what there on about and can do a decent job, since mine still pulls to one side, grrrrr when i change front tyres i'll get it all sorted once and for all.
  3. wow! thats going to some lenghts to sort the weight dist out. :headvswal

  5. i normally run the Z in summer so don't have much need to use much screen wash, so now i'm running her in winter, i need to now fill up the screen wash (you know where this is going don't you?) and the filler tube is supposed to be on the off-side, under the bonnet, near the head lamp (well according to the user manual) but guess what its not, there's all the hicas stuff, but no filler pipe, help where on earth is it, hunted high and low, no joy. sorry to ask such a noob question, i feel such a mumpet. cheers
  6. criminal its been stored and not roared....... :headvswal
  7. cheers for that Jeff, good to see you still around, no doubt i'll be coming over with the Z at some point soon for a once-over. btw did u manage to expand into the spare barn and setup the shop you where telling me about?
  8. i started life with the Silvia, then 200sx and had to have the Daddy! 300zx, had her for a few years now and the only thing i'd change it for would be a 1972 240Z, other than that i can't think of another car i'd change the 300ZX for, ooooh other than a Jag XK8.....
  9. is the buzz from the peddle or from n/s middle of the car?
