Way off the mark?
i've been a good boy this morning, and changed the Windows Amp, so it does now work. though i have to smile at Jeff's comment about just unclip the bottom of the door to get to it.... yep if the old amp unit gently slides of it's bracket then no problem, but when it's welded on with age then you end up having to take the whole door panel off to get the bracket off to then wrestle the amp of the bracket.... hey-ho, all done now.

Way off the mark?
Cheers Jeff, I now really have no excuse not to do it.

Way off the mark?
Nah, it's a just take the door panel off and swap in the replace amp unit i have, and that should sort the window, as i've already changed the switch so i know thats ok.

Way off the mark?
Yeah, that's kinda what i figured regards price, since if i lowered it people will assume there's a problem, which of course there isn't, it's totally stock. Cheers for input.

Way off the mark?
Hi Z'eders, i'm selling my Z on this forum Forum Link , and also stuck it on ebay Classified eBay Link , but got no interest so far, would appreciate any pointers, am i way of the mark on price?? or is there just no interest in these cars atm, since i assumed they were finally becoming a sought after classic. yes i could keep hold of her, but could really do with releasing the money tied up in her. cheers

low mileage, original, 300ZX TT SWB Auto
Having followed the forum for over 10 years, and owned this Z for 12 years, it's now time to let her go, as she isn't used much and really deserves to be driven and enjoyed, and i could do with releasing some money to help with a new project i have (you'll spot the XKR in the pics) This car has had a very easy and comfy life, spending all it's time garaged, and it's only covered 20,000 miles in 12 years! i have serviced it each year or every 3,000 miles with Mobil1 and original filters. These are finally an appreciating classic, and the prices are only set to go-up, this one is a very standard and is in great condition. The only mod that's been done is for practical purposes, and thats the fitting of HID's, but these can be easily removed to go back to original. The car comes with loads of paperwork, old MOT's, invoices etc, and the work sheets for the work Jeff at ZedWorld has done in the past. this one is fairly rare, in that it was manufactured in July 1989, the same month the 300ZX's went on sale in Japan, so it's one of the very early ones to come of the production line. This comes with x2 sets of keys and remotes a full years MOT, until 6 May 2017 It's had the paintwork refreshed where needed to get rid of usual chips etc it comes with the Owners Manual, and the Targa Top Covers I have the ConZult equipment which i'll include I purchased/fitted some original refurbished Alloys a few years back Tyres very good all round, Avons on the back and Michelins on the front Alarm/Immobiliser fitted The car has only done 56956 miles, when purchased speedo read 59,014 kilometres (36,669 miles), this was then changed from KPH to MPH by ZedWorld. The speedo now reads 79,302 therefore actual mileage is (79,302-59,015 = 20,287 miles since conversion) + 36,669 miles before conversion = 56,956 miles. The big job of Cam belt/inlet hoses/thermostat/ancillary belts has all been done a few years back by Jeff at ZedWorld I have a spare rear section exhaust in excellent condition which i'll include, as these SWB ones are hard to come by, so I snapped it up when it was for sale. New battery about 3 months ago. I'm open to sensible offers on this, but i'm not going to give it away, since happy to leave it garaged for a few more years, and it'll only go up in value. Still for sale, dropping price to £4500, as I need the garage space.

5 Years sleep, now time to wake-up?
Hi all, Z's been sleeping for 5years (due to a whole range of circumstances) in a cozy dry garage, but now it's time to finally get it back on the road, just wondered what you'd suggest i check out/change before i try and drive somewhere for an MOT, and also what'd be good to have serviced on it after 5 years of sleep. Cheers David

parking her up for 2 years..... what to sort?
could you just add a fuel additive to prevent the rusting, since full tank of fuel about £60 or bottle of additive £2 to £5?? yeah £3.99 a little sounds about right!!

parking her up for 2 years..... what to sort?
Ok the Z is going to have to be parked up for 2 years, and wondering what needs to be done so when i come back to her she'll fire up. so far i've done: - remove battery and put on a timer to trickle charge for 1/2 hr each day - put some moisture soaking crystals inside - put the front and back on blocks to raise wheels of the ground - put her under a huge cover (she'll be garaged anyway) any other pointers, only things i thought was putting in some fuel addative to help prevent rust etc, what do people think???? cheers

HID Fitted, but headlight adjustment had it??
Thankfully i've just realised its only the left to right adjusters that are shot, and i needed to adjust the up/down after installing the HID, so i'm saved from going to local dealer, well until its next MOT and they maybe funny.... but thankfully my local MOT guy is pretty flexible and last time just passed the car and asked me to get it sorted as soon as possible etc. (mind you he does get to work on all the cars in the family, so think he likes to keep us sweet)

HID Fitted, but headlight adjustment had it??
i think i just walked out shaking my head at the time.... :headvswal this time i'll turn up in it... be interesting to see what they quote to replace the broken adjusters and do the alignment for us.

HID Fitted, but headlight adjustment had it??
Just fitted a set of fleebay HIDs, so far easy peasy, but the up/down adjustment screen just seems to spin round n round, so i'm gonna guess the cogs are shot? how easy is it to replace these? and any idea's where to source the parts. I'm considering taking it into the local Nissan dealer, but i'm not inspired when last time i went in the guy argued with me that Nissan never made a 300ZX !!! cheers all

if you've got some spare change then....
i thought these sold for 750k and it cost VW 1 million to make? so not a bad investment if so, (well not for vw, who's board members must've been smoking something at the time when they signed that project off)
