  1. How'd you like speed bumps?
  2. I think win discount vouchers is a good idea, because then they can get something towards what they need. Either that or something cool like new fog lights/99 lights which pretty much everyone will fancy
  3. No, it's a Vinyl sticker but it's been on for years and won't come off by hand. Heat gun will probably be the cleanest option imo
  4. Yeah I hate it, there is one on the side too aswell as some rubber debris from a rubber stripe round the side. What should I use? Petrol? Heat?
  5. Everything from the windshield to the front of the car are the same between a swb and a lwb. A swb door will not directly fit into a lwb and its such a big hassle modding it so lets say it wont. TT bumpers are different but will fit. Is it just body damage or there frame and suspension damage?
  6. Dan I can see you're here, end out misery please!
  7. Stupidly didn't take any pictures, but I refitted the starter motor cover with the pain in the ass bolts, flushed the system and got new coolant in it, and got the remainder of the new brakes installed  Here's a nice pic anyway
  8. He hasnt, I'm like a hawk to any new post and I can confirm.
  9. I love how the minute Si says something positive, everyone is suspicious and wondering what he has done wrong to cover up[emoji38]
  10. Assuming its the same one i have, SBC-id, i got the manual which helped me sbc_i-d_iii[1].pdf Vacuum lines are the only tricky bit imo. Just have the controller under the dash, and route the wire to through the firewall and I mounted the solenoid top left of the engine bay. The intake vacuum lines you can run from the intake pipes, but my wastegate ones ran straight down to one wastegate, and the other underneath the engine to the other side. Perhaps not the neatest way however. Don't know if that helps, just what my setup is like.
  11. If I may have any input, the black one looks twice as high, but also half as wide so the difference would be in the thickness, and I think the black one is slightly thicker. Probably best to actually measure them but they should be near enough the same IMO, and also the black looks alot neater

Good to hear mate. Live in the same town as you and never seen your car in my life lol
  13. Clean enough for a BBQ on it eh?
  14. Honda civic owners. (the ones with the obnoxious exhaust, fibreglass body kits and launch every traffic light)
  15. As a whole yes, but it's nice to chat to some younger folk once in a while who can see my side of things. Everyone at school thinks I'm that nerd who bought a car he can't drive lol. While true, that's not why I bought it.
  16. My experiance (however short it has been) has been a good community, good chats and helpful advice. Admitadly i've brought on some hate and pissed some people off, i hope I have become better and not simply an inconvineince on the forum :( Looking forwards the rest of the year, the forum has made the ownership so much more enjoyable and gives me somthing to do in my breaks . Car would probably be broken by now otherwise. Thanks
  17. Another one???
  18. My thoughts would be that as its a 20+ish year old car, the white would likely have faded slightly so maybe better to grab a match straight off the paint.
  19. I think I saw that actually, I would probably go for white. For the moment though I have more important things to spend my money on ;) Thanks
  20. Where did you buy these from Paul?
  21. Are you keeping the Matt paint? I would fancy some satin on a car like that
  22. You implied you were dirty yourself Dan just confirmed it lol
  23. It's not the first, but thanks anyway
