  6. I think Si was like Marmite to many people on here because of how he was! I didnt really know him but got on well on here with him, I personally think it is a shame what happened but I can also see that how he was at times caused his demise on here! If he has had fair warning & decided not to act then that is sadly down to him. He was quite a character & added a lot of fun on the forum to many (& a lot of s**t too  ) Mods do a great job on here & there is always more to these things than you would think! Like times before when these things have happened the world & this forum will go on just fine!
  7. Have been flat out the last 2 days, is now insured, taxed & tested! Brakes have all been cleaned & gave the calipers a quick lick of paint until I can get a big brake upgrade. Wheels now on - what do you think?! To big or just right?! The rears do sit slightly out from the arches!
  8. carmad has some new stillen/kaminari style skirts in production - the originals are really nice & smooth looking. Wait until then & we'll get him to do a group buy :D
  9. I dont think the mods or comittee will really allow that no matter what anyone thinks!
  10. As above - fine apart from the IC ducting - I cut the inner corners to open them up a little. All fits fine apart from that :)
  11. Dropped my car back for welding that wasnt quite right today. Removed the passenger seat & started with the leather swap. Will post details on this thread: http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=141762
  12. Started on my passenger seat tonight. Removed the seat, headrest off, separated the backrest & removed the cover. Will update with pics on this thread as I do the job :)
  13. Sweet! Let me know when you have them ready - are they taken from one of these or are they a custom design? :)
  14. Hmm, great! Would like to know what they are for so I can see if I can sell them on!
  15. I keep thinking of skirts! I only want something smooth & subtle, no vents & wings LOL! PM or post some pics if you wouldnt mind! More expense :death: :D
  16. Ordered a complete set of door seals, roof seals & targa seals a couple of years back from Courtesy Nissan. The targa & roof seals are good but the door seals are different & suspect from a SWB - could anyone confirm this? Part numbers on my new seals are: 80830-30P00 80831-30P00 My car is a '93 UK Series 2 car. Any help would be great - what are these seals for & what do I need LOL! :chinese:

As I said - I know cos I have done it myself! Its still wrong to test a vehicle with an LSD in the rollers! Trust me! :tt2: If VOSA checked on the tester carrying out the test they would get points against them. We could argue all night abouth if it is possible to do it & yes I know it is possible, but it is still not the correct way to test as instructed by VOSA!

BTW - you could still check the front wheels in the rollers & test for balance - the rear wheels are not tested for balance anyway!

Yup - I am serious! That is quoted from the MOT testers guide. I too have tested in the rollers but VOSA state this must not be done!! There IS risk of damage - I agree it is unlikely but you should still not test in rollers as per the instructions listed in the testers manual!!
