  5. DONT OVER TIGHTEN THE NUT!!!!! or you'll put the pre-load out & need a new diff!! its best to mark the nut & tighten to the same position if you dont have any way of checking pre-load.
  6. doh! :( if you suspect the PTU then iv got 1 you can try (its one i repaired till i got my new one) where are you trying to take the fuel pipe off john?? take it off at the filter, that should come off quite easy :)
  7. the problem with turbo seals is that there is no physical "seal" as such. ie there is no rubber seal/o ring that you can replace. the seal is maintained by pressure. removing the cats lowers the back pressure which allows the oil to leak past the turbine. look here
  8. nothing to do with this thread?????

  12. lol!! i remember when i was working at a lancia dealer, we were forever fitting bleed valves on the delta hf turbos & intergarale's. one day we had an intergarale come in for a service & my apprentice decides hes gonna wind the bleed valve out for the road test, & i mean RIGHT out!! lol! we get on the road & as soon as we get a clear run I floor it - the boost gauge shot off the scale, the car took off & there was an almighty BANG!! shit! jumped out & had a look, luckily it was just an inlet pipe that had popped off!! phew!! :D

you need to check against a decent boost guage. i bought 2 of 1.2mm, & 1.0mm 1.2 wasnt enough (for me ;) ) so i put 1.0mm ones in, prob just a little too high. if you can get hold of 1.1mm (I couldnt) then try these as well. its best to start at a higher jet & work down. HTH :)
