no, you dont need to strip anything. remove the split pin & nut from the hub joint & press the outer part of the arm off with a ball joint splitter, then remove the 2 boots, lock up one side & unscrew the other. not sure why you think its hard in situ?? :confused:

I agree stu, when they were working ok i thought they were very good & wondered what all the fuss was about with people saying they were crap. im sure the big brake conversion is even better, but im gonna stick with the zeds brakes in good working order!! :D

dont use it!! ;) I use 10W40 Mobil semi synth. top oil at a reasonable price (free to me!! :D )

positive crankcase ventilation. theres one either side in the inlet manifold. & really must get round to doing mine :o

my brakes have been getting a bit crap lately (as many people complain about on zeds), pads all looked reasonable still so decided to strip & clean. 4 out of the 8 pistons on the front calipers had siezed :eek: . no wonder they were so crap!! pushed them back & pumped them out a few times to free them off. I now have working brakes again!! :) next pad change i think i'll get a caliper rebuild kit & do the job properly. bet theres a few out there that need doing!!

well done Rob, you get the "I was listening last time" award :D 95 on is a default cat test for MOT purposes, pre 95 & there has to be an exact match in the emissions database (& there isnt) or you do a non cat test. now this is for MOT only - how the law stands on removing cats i dont know.
