Replacing the PCV valves
they are really p!ss easy to do, just make sure you replace the hoses too, then cut the old hoses off as they go hard & brittle :)

Help...MOT...RACK GAITORS and REAR BUSH
try mike feeney in the traders section. front rack gaitors are quite easy to do, wheels off, track rod end off (count the turns to put them back in the same place), lock nut off then undo the clips & slide them off. after fitting you should have the tracking checked, but if you put the TRE's back in the same place it shouldnt be far out. rear bush - what one?? theres loads!! the one that wears most is the one in the rear hub where the hicas link arms bolt on to, never done one but not too bad i wouldnt have thought, as long as you have pullers/a press which you may need

Coolant leak - bodge ideas needed
you may be able to match up an o ring from a motor factors or a garage may have one. weve got a kit at work with about 30 different sizes of O rings, you can also get a kit which is different thicknesses of beading which you cut & glue together to form O rings HTH

Please Help
theres no reason why an NA shouldnt have a det sensor - most modern cars have one. obviously on an NA it will just retard the timing rather than limiting your boost
-
Please Help
could be the TPS (throttle position sensor) do a search or look in the manual for testing it have you done an ECU diag to see if any fault codes show up?

LMAO!! like to see you trying to mig the head to the block Baggins!!
-
rear wheel bearings
got mine from Mike Feeney in the traders section for about £100, you may be able to pick up an aftermarket jobbie cheaper from a motor factors quite an easy job on a zed, as the bearing comes with the housing that bolts onto the hub. you will have to press the drive flange out of the old unit & into the new.

Aftermarket headbolts
metal head gaskets are fine for competition use, not very well suited for street use for this very problem. they are a lot stronger, but their sealing properties are not so good :(

Auto to manual ??

Spark Plugs

Sold my M5 to buy 300zxTT
Jap or UK - comes mainly down to personal preference & whats available. UK will be cheaper on insurance but theres more imports around. spec wise they can vary slightly UK is more likely to have leather interior. Auto or Manual - really, dont ask this question on here!!! starts wars!! :slap: (but get a manual ;) :D ) mine has been very reliable, some have not, it can really just be the luck of the draw on cars of this age. just look out for clean ones with good SH, avoid dogs. its not worth saving £1k on a tatty one thinking you will do it up! turbos - you can get a pair of Hybrids for just over £1k from Smithy + fitting they are top fun tho :hyper:

NZR (Sort of): Need some advice
get a mortgage now & stick the £5k on the mortgage :D

power surging @ low trottle setting
apparently it can cause problems, esp if you have no splash guard. you can try putting a couple of lengths of duct tape (phone SMW1 ;) ) on the underside of the filter read here for this & other tips : http://www.twinturbo.net/ttnetfaq/FAQpages/hesitate2.html

power surging @ low trottle setting
AFM =Air Flow Meter, measures the amount of air being drawn (forced ;) ) into the engine & fuels accourdingly. can cause poor idling, lack of power, surging & flat spots if faulty. also worth checking for air leaks. have you done an ECU diag?

De-cat replacement pipes for TT
