  10. the ball bearing part is the thrust washer, which allows for faster spool up as there is less reisistance compared to a regular thrust washer

  12. sounds like theyve tried to turbo it without lowering the compression ratio, so can only run at low boost

  14. caster isnt adjustable either (unless you have adjustable tension rods), & wont cause tyre wear anyway!

  21. the auto box has just decided enough is enough on mrs c's Micra 1.0 auto. must be all that power :D found a 2nd hander for £85!! lets hope its a goodun. feck, feck, feck! i know what i'll be doing next sat :(
  22. i take it you mean the 1st inner race on the drive flange? 3 options: 1, find someone with a proper bearing remover, this presses in between the surface of the race & the flange, allowing it to be pressed off. 2, put the hub in a decent heavy duty vice, split the 2 with a chisel & hammer off 3, carefully cut a groove with an angle grinder in the race, when it becomes thin, it will split easily when hit with a chisel & fall off. & yes, it should be a press fit back into the bearing

  24. Mark, i had 350 with my tyres still smoking!! :o the RR operator estimated mine at around 400 without wheelspin, maybe a little optimistic, but 380ish is quite realistic i would have thought, couple that to an engine that is a little fresher than mine & 400bhp seems very achievable! :)
