  1. i dont think you can get them here in the UK got mine from Courtesy: http://www.courtesyparts.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=CP&Product_Code=24079-00002
  2. general opinion is decatting = more power, more noise & more chance of blowing the rear turbo oil seal.
  3. leave your keys in the ignition & see how long before its nicked!!
  4. LOL!! try working in the motor trade - they load your premium just for working on cars
  5. i'll alert the media!! :D
  6. brakes get very very hot, easily hot enough to boil water!! just try doing pads & discs after someone has just drove it to you!!
  7. done mine today also
  8. hmm, funny you should say that eric - andyp always said the centre plate was stock, when i bought mine from smithy about 18months or so ago, it certainly wasnt a standard nissan plate!
  9. the stock boost gauge is pants & shouldnt be taken seriously!! the needle wont hit the end of the scale unless the cars had a boost increase. have you done an ECU diagnostic to see if theres any fault codes? i would also try cleaning the throttle bodies & idle control valve with carb cleaner, clean the electrical connectors to the CAS, PTU, Temp sensor etc with electrical cleaner. disconnect the battery for 1/2hr min while doing this to reset the ECU. HTH :)
  10. i know it doesnt help your situation, but i have the RPS street cluch with about 400bhp & find it extremely good. i agree with Jezz, it appears that the centre plate has been fouling on something - did you strip it?? is there any other damage to the flywheel or clutch cover?
  11. well if youve cot code 34, then youre in safety boost - 7psi. thats why its lacking in power. you need to sort that out 1st check here for testing & bypass (not recommended!) : http://www.zhome.com/ZCMnL/PICS/detonationSensor/detonationSensor.html
  12. got mine from Mike Feeney @ MJP when i done mine - wasnt too expensive IIRC :) agree about the headlamp washers - left mine off too :D 99 rears look great too matey
  13. code 34 is det sensor/wiring
  14. 1 - how much do you want to spend?? personally i would have the pistons out & check the bores, re-ring & hone the cyls at the very least. heads off & overhaul - valves & seats recut or just cleaned up & lapped in. reassemble with a full engine rebuild kit from courtesy. 2 - there not that expensive from Nissan, or try Mike Feeney @ MJP, or the engineering co thats grinding the crank may be able to supply them (mine does) 3 - i would only replace with new TBH. again nissan, MJP, or the machine shop. also, many take this opportunity to do things like water pump, cam belt & pulleys. PCV valves & hoses. EGR removal............. the list could go on & on!!!
  15. got mine to do still, its just a case of cutting the old plugs off, then soldering the new ones onto the existing wires must get round to doing mine. might do it tomorrow if im not too busy
