Oh no, serious probs....
1st thing is check the oil level to make sure its not been overfilled, as this causes fluid to be forced out of the breather.

whoo hoo - SL65 AMG
yeah, about £5.50 + vat ea, & about 3.5 hrs labour IIRC to fit too!!! costs more to replace plugs than the basic service costs on V engines (the V6 & V8's have twin spark also)

whoo hoo - SL65 AMG
got one of these for me to play with when i get back to work: http://www.mbusa.com/brand/models/SL65.jsp they had to electronically limit the torque figure, unlimited it produced 885 ft/lb of torque!!!!!!!! they were worried it would shred the transmission! running twin tubbies at 22psi! mental!!

Brake disc typical life (on a Polo!)
most german cars use quite soft discs on their cars. this does cause them to wear (& corrode :( ) quicker, but allows the pads to grip better. they should last a lot longer than that tho, sounds like its a round towner with gentle braking - not good for discs

clean around the wheel arches etc frequently with a pressure washer during the winter & protect the paintwork with a decent polish

What's the difference between MAF and AFM?
different terminology for the same thing really MAF = Mass Air Flow sensor, most of these are hot film type sensors to tell the ecu the mass of air entering the cyls AFM = Air Flow Meter, early meters simply had a flap which moved a variable resistor to tell the ecu the amount of air flowing, the ecu would also need to take a seperate air temp reading to calculate the mass of air

anyone using nitrogen in their tyres?
no no no! it really is used!! not like asbestos hampsters or anything!
-
anyone using nitrogen in their tyres?
Yup, is supposed to maintain a stable pressure regardless of tyre temps. also meant to be better for your alloys as it reduces any risk of corrosion.

MOT Failure
its generally better to replace as a pair unless theres very low mileage on them. chris@getgreddy does a selection so speak to him. yup, deffo worth fitting at the time of installation, tho the upper arms & tension rods are pretty easy to fit anyway
