its not a A/C condensor, its a reciever/drier :rofl: the condensor sits in front of the rad & looks like a rad :p

hmm, i think even with a fast road rebuild upto 700bhp on an auto is severely pushing it! besides - think of the power loss :D

530's will be my choice when i upgrade. CZP 530's SGP 530's stu (SMW1) is currently rebuilding his engine with these, will be very interesting to see the results :)

mines done 110,000 miles now, & has been running 16psi for the last 25,000 miles :) its really down to the condition of the car & how well its been maintained. if its a dog thats had loads of missed services then a car with regular servicing thats been looked after but has twice the mileage may obviously be better.

its a way of increasing peak boost. it holds the turbo wastegates shut until it reaches the level you have set it to. as standard (assuming the cars not in saftey boost) the turbos will produce around 9.5psi of boost, at this point the wastegates open preventing any higher boost. with the EBC connected you can set the boost level you want, usually around 14psi for standard tubs/injectors.

the main reason for not buying an import was always insurance, many insurance companies charge a hefty premium & lots more simply refuse to insure one. there are some specialist companies that are import friendly however & would recommend you phone around first. i think the 280 v 300 bhp figures is total BS tbh, i havnt seen any evidence to support this or any documentation on what is different between the 2(they have the same tubs, boost levels etc). AFAIK its just the way different countries measure BHP.

just to add to this, as well as peak voltage, alternators should be measured for Amp output (which is the actual currant measurment).
