  1. Rubbish!! we still apply manufaturers service schedules to cars far older than 15 years!! yes you may have to look a little bit more closely for worn components but most service schedules include most of the checks to cover this however, ie inspect suspension components etc

  6. depends what it is, my mates got a modified STi that is fookin mental quick! they can launch much faster than any zed, & even when rolling its damn fast. its down to personal preference really. some people like scoobys but there not really for me. can appreciate the fact that they are nice drivers cars tho! :)

  11. your right - it is ok if you completely disconnect for MOT purposes. may invalidate your insurance however if you dont inform them!! ;)
  12. PTU is a likely suspect. you can do a diagnostic test yourself by shorting out 2 pins on the diag socket - displays a flash code on the dash. diag check

  17. for mot standards, any "patch" repairs - ie not a complete replacement panel, must be seam welded all the way round. this include oversills which are welded over the top of existing sills
