indicators should be tested with the lights on to see if there is a bad earth etc ;) front fogs are not part of the test anyway!!

not a relay - front SAM turns them on ;) :D works on steering angle input too. stick it in reverse & the opposite light comes on!

does it need/have a permenant feed to it??

lets face it - the only proof would be to dyno a car with uprated SMIC's then with a FMIC. from dyno sheets i read on a test on TT.net a while back it showed SMIC'c gave a slight bhp increase. chris - why dont you do a back to back test for your products ;) now that would be interesting! ;)

check for corrosion on the ally panels, esp round sunroof if fitted, front & rear wheel arches & bottom of C pillars where they meet the rear 1/4 panels. if left, being alluminium they can rot out in no time. Goodwill payments from Mercedes can go back quite a few years so take it to a Merc dealer if any is found! very nice cars :)

a decent semi synthetic more than meets the spec of turbo engines. TBH, fully synth is a complete waste of money if like most people on here you change your oil every 3000 miles or so! I only use fully synth cos its free!! :D

yeah, bacteria on the AC evaporator. got tins of the stuff here to cure it!! :p :D

i use Mobil Synt S 5W40 (fully synth) with no probs

the underdriving only accounts for about 10% of the power gain as it doesnt underdrive by a huge amount on our cars
