  1. Jason Farrow lives near me. He followed me home in my zed in 2022 just to chat zeds lol. Real nice guy. Still had The Beast in his garage but hadn’t had it out in years. Had no intentions of selling it or anything but likewise appeared to lack motivation to get it back out either. And so as far as I know, it’s still tucked away.
  2. View Advert Rear Bose speaker enclosures. (2+2) Long shot probably. Anyone have a pair of Bose rear speaker enclosures? upgrading the audio in my car and those flimsy metal rear speaker mounts aren’t great. Would love to find a set of Bose enclosures for a LWB if any available. Thanks Offered by: Akita Date 04/07/24 Price £99.00 Category Parts - Wanted
  3. That’s great, thanks very much for the info 😎
  4. These look great!! Where are they from?
  5. I think so too. Lee, can you imagine how you’ll feel if this goes wrong and engine 💩 itself again? Recovery to Bristol, gotta be. Have it done right and finally enjoy her! Whatever it costs to have Jimmer get her sorted will be minor compared to how much it could cost if something doesn’t go to plan! Whatever you decide to do I wish you luck with it 🍀
  6. No it’s definitely not a twins spoiler. The closest I can find is a Veilside spoiler but even that isn’t the same. It could be that maybe the one fitted on my silver zed was an earlier version of the veilside 🤷🏻‍♂️. Was a JDM import car so likely had a fibreglass spoiler made out there. No cigar just yet.
  7. To add, the reason I’m after this one specifically is because many other fibreglass reps have different proportions/characteristics. Here’s a side on image of my current car and it’s fibreglass spoiler, my issue is that it “sags” downwards at the back. Its a good 13mm or so lower at the rear lip than where it meets top of tailgate. The one on my old silver zed was so much nicer to my eyes.
  8. Hi all. Wanted to pick your guys brains to see if anyone can remember who made these old OEM replica spoilers? This photo is of my first zed that I owned from 2015-2017 and it already had an aftermarket fibreglass OEM replica spoiler fitted. For me, it was ideal. It had a very subtle “flick” or duck tail effect and stuck out just the right amount in proportion to the OEM rear bumper. I’d love another, but don’t know where to look. Anyone recall them? Thanks Brett
  9. Stones throw from my house this! Well… almost. 2 roads away 🤓 Won’t be back in another zed by then, though. Month or two later and I could probably have been joining you 🤷🏻‍♂️
  10. Bet the OP didn’t realise the can of worms he was about to open. And for info I actually paid 900 quid for a knackered unchecked engine. Not 800. But OP, you wanted some info and advice on buying a zed and I feel you’ve got exactly what you needed to make your own decision. Was well worth your time posting the question ?? So in that regard, a very successful forum post.
  11. Good find mate. Never seen one in that condition before ???
  12. Hey. Yeah I took a few pics of the process. This is somebody else’s thread though. Been meaning to start a thread of my own car, will get round to that soon I hope. Then share all pics there ???
  13. Nice thanks. Was toying with getting the 2.5” ones as they’re not much more expensive than the 2 inch ones. But seeing as the 2.5 pipework is about 500 quid (!!!) I’m leaning towards the 2.0” now. Wondered if there would be much difference over stock but appears so! Thanks
  14. Hi mate. Nice work. Are those the 2.0 inch or the 2.5 inch intercoolers?
