  1. Nissan part numbers: 92400-30P00 Hose-Heater, Inlet 92410-30P00 Hose-Heater, Outlet
  2. Looks like a heater hose. There are 2 hoses, one supplies coolant to the heater core, from the engine. The other returns coolant from the heater core, to the engine. If one is defective, you can bet the other one will be in a similar state, so you'd better get both hoses. In the meantime, you can cut the old hoses off & join the two pipes on the engine with a section of hose, long enough to make a U shaped hose. If it's too short, it'll kink & restrict water flow. That is known as a heater bypass, then you can obtain the correct hoses at your leisure, but you won't have a heater. You don't have to worry about sealing the 2 pipes coming through the firewall, probably the ideal time to give the heater core a good flush with the garden hose.
  3. Pins 85 & 86 are the connections to the relay coil, it wouldn't matter if the connections were reversed, the relay is switched via the coil. Pin 30 is the common or supply connection. Pins 87a & 87 are the output connections. When voltage flows through the coil, the coil is energised & switches the relay from Pin 87a to Pin 87.

  5. They're dire when driving at night! The standard Xenon's are a different story, like night & day.
  6. I guess we'd be waiting a while longer for you to supply the answer!
  7. The problem is your opening line "The best & cheapest". The best isn't going to be the cheapest & the cheapest isn't going to be the best.

  9. TT engines run best on the correct oil viscosity. The viscosity is determined by intended use & the expected ambient temperature they will be operated under. Synthetic oils offer better high temperature stability & protection than mineral based oils.
  10. No one's got a UK Z32 VIN?
  11. When the bottom end of an engine is mentioned, most would think you are referring to the crankshaft or big end bearings. Unlikely the noise would be oil related, unless there is a lack of it, very low oil pressure or viscosity. Bottom end noises are normally not described as 'ticking' noises either, they are more of a tapping or knocking sound.
  12. Require a couple of Euro Spec VIN numbers. Preferably TT & NA numbers to test Nissan FAST.
  13. Your dreaming! It's lasted 25 years & there are plenty still in service.
  14. It won't matter. The controller is reading vacuum, not the flow rate of vacuum. You will obtain a steadier reading with a smaller diameter hose than a larger one.
  15. Anyone on the forum from anywhere around South Shields? Or have first hand knowledge of the area?
  16. Isn't the forum great, you learn something nearly everyday! My December 1993 JDM TT - When you open the door.
  17. So you're saying it only comes on when you turn on the lights? That's strange as you would've already put the key in the ignition. Most people would start the car & then turn on the lights & also turn off the lights & then turn off the ignition.
  18. Doesn't the ignition ring illuminate when you open the car door?
  19. You mean this? http://www.aus300zx.com/forum/showthread.php?t=333053
  20. I guess it's going to be an interesting ride, congratulations on your acquisition. :balloon: :nana2: Please post some pics when you get a chance. I appreciate the thought but please don't send the lights! :D
  21. That mightn't be the best location to do your connection, there isn't a lot of room to work in & the plastic mountings are easily broken. Look for a GREEN wire with a RED tracer, that's an illumination wire.
  22. Mate, no offence taken or apology necessary! Let's find you a good Z that you'd be proud to own. You have to be a little patient until the right one comes along.
  23. Kill you? That's a bit extreme. Honestly, I'm on your side. I can see you're keen to get a Z & I hope that you can find a good one. One that you like & has been looked after by previous owners. A good Z can be a pleasure to own & drive & above all is reliable. The other options are a Z that becomes a pain in the arse & a money pit with very little resale value. Personally I wouldn't consider that car if it was free. But if you like it, go for it! I believe other forum members may be too polite to express their views, or maybe they like it as much as you do. Cheers mate
  24. That's a politically correct way of putting it.
  25. I have these Front 18" x 8.5" +21mm Rear 18" x 9.5" +41mm With these offsets there are no guard clearance or contact issues. No problems with clearances on R33 GT-R Brembo brakes. No spacers required.
