While i was fitting the clutch pedal for my manual conversion i had to move a black electical box about 6" x 4" plugs all down 1 side, out of the way to get the pedal in, there was no other way to get it in, it is part number (27512-41P00) doea anyone have a clue what it's for? Thanks in advance Jay

  15. the one off the 1989 auto has a yellow sticker sayin 4AWS the one off the 1992 manual has a yellow sticker sayin ABS on it.... are they the same? cheers guys

  17. Hi all i am half way through manual conversion and im having loads of trouble getting the auto pilot bushung out, does anybody have any suggestions, i have tried hammer and chisel with no luck...any help would be greaty appreciated as i wana get on with this job......cheers Jay
  18. How long is the bolt for the det sensor as i can feel it as i have the gbox off doin a manual conversion, and det sensor is knackerd, is it possible to replace it from the rear of engine with the box out? or not as i will swap it with the one from my manual if so. cheers Jay

  20. My local clutch care centre quoted 3.5 hours labour at £130 to replace complete clutch, and thats a box off job. just to give you an idea...
  21. £40 an hour's not too bad i suppose going by some hourly rates iv'e heard of, but id rather struggle along with help and advice from ze forum members, and do it myself then i know it's done right + you'll learn more bout your Z along the way..
  22. Parcel2go is so easy to use compared to interparcel i have accounts with both, but for the bit extra sometimes id rather go with parcel2go.... Parcel2go also have a sister company http://www.postmehappy.com/ but i've never used them so could'nt comment.....

I think thats a tad expensive to be honest m8, not that im an expert or anything but the rear crank seal is £20 from mjp and i can be done in a few hours with the right tools (diy) , not to sure on the cambelt change n front end leak but isnt there a front crank seal there which is prone to perishing it cant be that expensive to do.....£700 you can by my manual tt engine for less than that....and it's a goodun.....Jay
