  6. had a lucky escape from a nice unmarked police volvo this morning :nana2: 2 lane roundabout and leads onto duel carraige way so stayed in inside lane, undertook one car (well not stricktly undertook as he didnt come off at that exit) then pulled into outside lane for a decent crack ay the duel carraige way, only to be held up by big volvo tootling along in outside lane. soon as i came up behing him he pulled back into the inside lane and put his blue flashers on :( as i pulled along level he gave a friendly wave and pulled over the car infront! :duffer::nana2::duffer:

  11. its Soooo diffferent! different in every single way. its a lot smaller, a lot louder, a lot faster, turns a lot more heads. i love my Z, where i use to see it as a sports car now i just see it as a GT though. there is a real sense of occasion when out in the TVR, dont know if its because you are never really sure if you will reach your destination ;)

Tvr has just had a front end respray and been detailed so dont want any fooker taking more of a like to it than me! cheers, nick.
  18. congrats chaps! sure you do a better job than the old ones ;) only kidding, sure you will do a stirling job in helping run/moderate the site :)
  19. well. my car has been in the insurance approved bodyshop for 4 months now, car with tow bar went through the fiberglass. rather than just patch the effected area they decided to chop the front end off and bond in a new one... so given the amount of work they made themselves i can understand its a decent sized job. the main problem now is, i got a call from the bodyshop today saying they have painted the front a different colour i know they had the professionals out from dupont(sp) with a laptop trying to get a colour match, but surely after 4 months they would have got the right colour paint i have been onto the insurance complaint department regarding the whole situation. i have head deadline after deadline pass and still no car, booked 2 weeks off so could have a driving holiday but thats out the window now. so the main question to be asked after this little rambly rant is... what do i actually put a claim in for? what can i possibly expect to get back from the insurance company? 4 months insurance? 4 months tax? 4 months mot? they supplied a fiesta as courtesy car, what chance of upgrade to something similar so could still go on holiday? anything else? i have to draught a letter and fax it asap cheers for reading! Nick.
  20. oh dear! maybe just a coincidence with MAC1 fighter jets?? haha!
