Hey Stella, I think its great someone like yourself is doing the kind of job you are because you really do need a lot of patience to deal with these kind of people (i.e. drunks, ill etc)... unlike a lot of people on here :tongue: I am also a homeowner with a house rented to an alcoholic who has become a very good friend of mine and it is sad to see how society do not have any time for these people because they are deemed useless. (I pay a lot of tax myself by the way) Also I don't think its the sole responsibility of just doctors to cure these people as they are terminally ill and most times incurable and so support can go along way. And I don't think people have much to gain out of kicking the f**k out of someone who has probably lost all their dignity and haven't got anything else to lose. You’ve done for 12 years. When I was in Barcelona last summer I was stopped on the Les Ramblas strip and was asked to play as an extra! Which I did :cool: :rofl: Don't know what film it was for though!

I was quoted about £500 for a full vinyl re-trim and around £850 for full leathers including door cards etc...

Try calling him, he has quite a few pictures where he works... he's also got a vast range of different leathers and vinyls( in terms of colour, texture, grade etc...) and works on most cars. He showed me some really nice porsce seats he had.

Found a really cool guy based around London who can do leather interiors to a very high standard and for very reasonable prices. He does both leathers and vinyl that looks very professional. I’ve just had my bolster repaired for a really good price and have arranged an entire re-trim with him. His prices range from £500- £1200 for full re-trim but depending on what you want. Thanks for the suggestions guys, i'm thinking candy apple blue, or the lambo california yellow/orange... in terms of silver and grey, I don't really want the car to look standard, saying that my favourite 300 is the grey full strosek one in belgium. Have to say though my favs' on the site are CJs, the Beast and I really like Zulleys' yellow colour. :cool:

The time has come for the respray. Okay I know that this is posted every so often but which colour do you guys suggest? I am after something sutle, sophisticated and slick. I was thinking of yellow but know it can be abit too in your face as my brother used to have one. I like gunmetal grey, but it really needs to be the dogs b0llox because i've spent alot of time and money doing it up. hey vijay, hes saying the trim along the top will be a problem as it goes as it is tucked up underneath the glass and the paint won't give clean finish between the top seal and panel, the sides are fine as they come off.

i'm getting my car resprayed within the next 4 weeks and garage is saying that they cannot take liability for the front windscreen as its a b1tch to take out... does the windscreen need to be taken out for respray and is it really that likely to break? as i've put all the kit on myself the guy at the garage is charging £800 for labour, but that means i still need to remove all the trim etc before it goes in for the respray and pay extra for the paints. all he's doing is removing the rear windscreen, primer (3 coats of acrylic), paint (colour change)and laquer. Is that about the right price? I am confident in his work though as hes got all new stuff and is insurance certified etc...

I've just read this, i suppose the booster could come in handy if you ever need to jump start a car? But ultimatley I do just need to charge some dead batteries... :nelson:
