To all, hi My car has recently gone into a spray shop. It went in with a flat battery but I recieved a phone call today from the painter complaining that it wont start. I thought it would be an easy fix cos it has happened before I either jump it or give the PTU a fiddle (calm down, you know what i mean) but NOTHING!! The car has an imobilsier, which did not respond as i pressed the fob. I have no power to dials except hazards, heater dials on left and lights? My question is could it be the imob? if so can i by-pass it? if not what else could it be?!? Never had any probs with the alarm b4..its an old clifford. Trying not to pass judgement but Im hoping the guy hasn't pulled a fuse cos he kept goin on about his mate that do it..but for more £££..Is there any where to look for signs etc.. Any help would be great! Cheers Gee

I live very close to central London and I absolutely love it.... there are many different backgrounds around here but and the majority of people all get on. I have to say I prefer the fast moving pace of London. Another great thing about London is that there is soo much to do around here. All imho of course. I drove up to Glasgow this Weekend and as nice as it was there it was all abit too quite on a Saturday night for me, all the streets were empty! :nelson: not a soul to be seen! Have to say Edinburgh was nice!

The pipework is all 22mm, but the connection to the mixers do seen to be 10- 15mm flexis, I'm going to have a proper look today and see how I get on. Thanks for all your help so far guys

cheers guys, the tank is only connected to the cold water... the supply to the tank is fine from the mains. The tank is connected to three outlets the bath, sink and toilet all of which have hardly any pressure in them. the taps are mixers!!! there is about 2- 2.5m of flexi pipe which connects the tank to the basins in the loft and it runs along the loft bed at an downward angle.. would my problems have anything to do with the flexi's? I can't find any kinks in the pipes either

This is probably the wrong site to post this but here goes. I have recently put a cold water tank in my loft and connected it to my 1st floor bathroom, I think I have done everything correctly, however there now seems to be an air lock in the system and the water only trickles out of the taps..... :wack: I was just wondering if anyone knows anything about plumbing and how I can sort this out. UPDATE: I've been to the garage today, and it turns out that my mate is having trouble with the paint.... it hasn't reacted YET! so it maybe the case that I will bring the car back to my garage and maybe attempt painting it myself! the problem is he can't assure me that he can get, or be bothered to get, the ripples out as he's got alot of work on and this is some kind of specialist paint that he ain't used too. C1JNT :rofl: To be honest I've done alot of work on the car and I don't want a shit finish, if I can't find a good sprayer that I can trust than i'm going to put all my faith in myself and attempt it. So that means that its going to have to stay a work in progress for now.

any ideas when this group buy would take place???

ummm... maybe, to be honest i'm only going to know when I get the whole car done. But then again I wasn't too sure what shade the car was, i.e. was blue or was it purple!!!! so i'm going to commit, and see how bright it will be...

Cheers fella. The colour is called Burple, so its not quite purple and its not exactly blue either.... Its a Viper front bumper from the Z centre, I modded it slightly, made the mouth smaller and put a front spoiler on it.

Okay guys heres an updated picture of the car that I took earlier on today.... In theory the car should've been out this friday but he wants to keep it in his bodyshop for another week. Let me know what you guys think of the initial colour Cheers peeps G

Hey guys, sadly i've been unable to update the progress on the car due to my mate (painter) not having the time to get my car up to scratch.... however he has assured me that it will be painted within the next few weeks. So fingers crossed, i'll update the page as soon as I have any development. Cheers G

Hey guys i'm searching around for some deep dish wheels. i.e as deep as Jason Farrows... Anyone got any recomendations as to where to get them and also where I can check out some strosek wheels including design, price etc etc... (can anyone source them in the Uk?) Many thanks G

Here are the last of them.... Had made the mouth a little smaller from the original (last minute decision) as shown in the picture. Once i get the car back these are the remaining mods i'd like to do- Drop the car by 60mm odd, especially from the back. Change those wheels so they will be up for sale pretty soon. Refine the engine and finally customize the interior.

Hey fella he's not respraying the engine bay, so he will not be taking out the engine... He is doing everything else.....
