  2. hey guys is there any PC wizard around as I've got a new dell PC and the monitor is now displaying everything at 45 degrees so I have to tilt my head to the left to use it. anybody got any ideas of whats wrong with it and how to fix it.... Thanks G
  3. I got a friend who will do it for £800 for a full colour change etc..., including acrylic primer, laquer, taking out the rear glass and other little bits and bobs. I have to take out all the trim and pay for the paints but i've seen his work and its brill and he's giving me a a good discount compared to his normal prices.
  4. It is the viper front and the mouth is alot smaller then what it used to be like... I should have some more pics up by the weekend. Shouldve taken alot more since I starting the project, it don't seem it but alot of work has gone into it to make it the way I want it. Even took the engine out myself to change the turbos :D but thats enough showing off for this Valentines evening.
  5. Hi mate, thats the only thing I didn't really like about the front bumper, just looked unfinished....my brother used to have the same...not really my cup of tea I ain't painting it myself it's going into a bodyshop on Monday.
  6. I downloaded all of lost as torrent files :nelson: , took about a day and watched them all in about 3 weeks! I think there is some underlining spiritual quest going on where everyone is given the oppurtunity to redeem themselves and the black smoke is the evil in them. If you remember when Mr Eco was confronted by the smoke the first time he saw all these faces from his past etc.... It seems to be some sort of bermuda triangle but how cool would it be to be there!!! :D
  7. Cheers woozer. I'm altering it a little before it goes for the respray next week, I've put a front lip on it. Also as its a wide arch I decided not to go down the conventional route of buying a petrol flap and fabricated one myself out of fibreglass. Also flushed most things off.. Including the door handles, side repeaters, front nose panel, rear wiper, front windscreen wasers, ariel etc....
  8. As some of you may have guessed I've been doing my car up for quite some time now and thought its about time I put some pictures up! They might be a bit big as I've just started using a new PC and haven't got any phot editing equipment... Let me know what you think, and somebody please feel free to make the pics smaller :D
  9. so am I but it was well worth the wait. Not much mystery in this one! But honestly peeps wtf is going on on that island???
  10. I only had mine for about a week before it was SORNED  `that was over a year ago! I'm hopeing it will be out in March/April
  11. Did anyone watch Lost yesterday? It was fantastic
  12. lol, sorry mate :nelson:
  13. Sorry to hear this bud, that does really look like a nicer dog to what i've seen before. I was just wondering what you mean "she has just had her hours changed" . I hope she goes to a good home fella ;), try giving her to some close friend a least you'll still see her.... Good luck mate
  14. I understand your name now   . Don't really know anything about this women but she probably died a very sad and lonely death ( and I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy)IMHO
  15. hey Lack your 300 was a gem, good to see that you still use the forum, You driving anything special at the moment???
  16. True Si, from my previous experiences on the building site, the long term workers always complained about how 5hitty their work was! but the migrants just got on with it including most crap jobs that no one else wanted to do. Now as the migrants save the money their becoming richer and in some cases are having the last laugh. I knew this one guy who earned about £300 a week and has been working in this country for about 6 years and had just bought a £300,000 house which is alot of money. I suppose its just the way the economy grows. Over the years their has always been an influx people coming from abroad to work IMHO.
  17. I think somethink like that would be amazing! how much would an excursion like that cost and how long is the trip?
  18. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Whoops wrong quote :wack:
  19. It was quite a loud knocking sound, I did think at first it probably was because it hasn't been started for so long. Even so I've done alot of work on it so I will eventually want a sound engine to enjoy my fruits properly! Thanks for the advice Andy you've actually helped me out quite alot over the years without even knowing it ( taking out the engine to replace the turbos) you've given some top advice on the site mate!
  20. Hey guys, turned over the 300 today after ages and it sounded shagged! I knew the engine would need changing one day but was hopeing it would be later rather than sooner. Based on my assumption I may need to start looking for a new lump. I was just wondering how much a relatively good engine goes for nowadays or how much would a rebuild cost? up untill now me and my brother have been doing all the work ourselves in our free time i.e. changing the turbos, body kit, primer etc and i'm a junior accountant! LOL, So I won't be doing any of this myself anymore and would want to get it done from a professional. Any help and advice will be much appreciated. Cheers peeps G
