Mk 1 astra GTE in red, mint. Had it a week. Want another, but there rare as rocking horse sh1t!!!

The other two are quite difficult even for my small hands i had to remove alot of stuff to get there they are z shaped and go from the turbo RETURN to the plenum, but these will not have been bypassed with the others as they are needed to feed the turbo cooler ones back. They look like very much like nissan part number 14056DA on the drivers side, not removed passenger side yet as it dont leak yet. If you get a price from mrF let me know how much it is as i used a 10mm fuel hose, but so you dont kink it you have to use quite a long length. Good luck.

I dont mind it that much, cept for the rear spoiler and brown interior.

MJP will sell you the two hoses for about £35. They need doing as these are the first to go after you have the plenum bypass done (as they are the next weak link). I can bet in a couple of monthe the RETURN pipes from the turbos will go soon as mine have recently, im just in the process of doing mine now. Zeds and water pipes do my fookin head in!!

I did mine last weekend, its been in the garage all week now cos i darent take it out in case it rains!!! It'll be an inch deep in dust by the time it comes out. Oh, and another cleaning tip: If you use autoglym super resin polish you can do the black surround on the rear window etc as long as you dont leave it on more than a few secs, brings it back to a nice shiney black instead off a dull grey.

I use 5w 50 fully syn valvoline, mainly as i get it dirt cheap at work. It works as well if not better than the casrtol rs10w60 i used to always use (cos i could get that dirt cheap from my old work!!!)

I think you'll find this noise comes from the footwell, not the wheels. As far as i know it happens on alot of zeds, mine does it upon first press hard press of the brake pedal, my guess is that theres some sory of valve/ servo/ regulator down there, and it makes that noise as it gets the fluid pressure up. Im sure one of the techies should know the real names and reasons for this.

I was advised very strongly NOT to do this when removed mine, as you run a very high risk of smashing the park gears. I stand corrected if you know better. Personally id remove the starter motor is a 10 min job.

It wasnt because there was too much traffic that you couldnt catch it. Its cos it was red and yours is white!!!! Oh and it wasnt me!!!

Check your boot too to check the little black box that attaches to the rear drivers side lamp hasnt got the plug comming out of its socket. Thats the prob ive got with mine at the mo.

Thought i had a busted turbo this week, looked like it was leaking water out of the casing. On removal of loads of stuff to get to the top of the tubby, i found it mas a little zed shaped water pipe on the return from the turbo to the plenum. £2 fix, im well happy!!!! :cool:
