Exide, must be Tyre Sales, Kwick Fit or Motorworld then. Exide are multi fit batteries, that are more tailored to size than Ah and CCA, I wouldnt fit one to my zed. Bosch Silver are very good batteries and thayve not long bought a new range out called Bosch Asia, these are black in colour and cater for the jap market, and have all the high power ratings that jap cars demand.They also have a 4 year guarantee. I dont know the bosch numbers for zed batteries, but i know the uk codes are 069 for uk and 068 for jap any bosch agent will be able to convert these to a bosch asia number.

I bought some really good ones off ebay a few months ago (h3c jap ones) I have since mailed them to order more, thay have none left at the moment but told me they will mail me when they get more in, think they were not much more than a fiver each. I'll keep you posted when i hear from them.

Stock uk cars you can get a 20 pack of cigs under the front bumper standing upright. Jap ones you can get same cig packet on its side. My not very technical method.

John sure knows his stuff, he fitted my boost controller, that and his chips are the best 2 mods you can do to a zed. If you havent got a boost controller yet get one, its like a different car once its in and set up.

Think theres a plug you neeed to disconnect and re connenct with the engine running to complete the reset, im not sre which one it is but its near the tps somewhere,im sure some one techy will know which one.

Worst pull i ever had was when a riot van blue lighted me on a roundabout, so as opposssed to stopping in a dangerous place i carried on over the roundabout, the road i came off onto had double yellow lines so i pulled onto the very wide path then drove forward about 10 yards to give them room to pull in behind me, the smart arsed copper jumped out and gave me a £20 fine (yep, thats how long ago it was) for driving a vehicle on something other than a road. I contested the fine and had to write a letter to the cps who decided, that in this matter they have decided not to persue the charge, no apology or feck all.

I get my bosch ones for about 3 quid each!!! I love my job!!! Yest they are 21 inch. Tip, dont fit spoiler blades both sides, i did this to make it look even, but if you use your wipers at much over a hundred the motor hasnt got the power to pull the blades back down the screen!!!

I hope your callipers dont need tightening!!!! Could just be snapped or lack of shims on the back of the pad. Try putting a good wedge of copper slip on the back of the pad, see if that fixes it, and while your in there check the two bolts holding the calliper on are nice and tight.

Ditto, I switched from castrol rs10/60 to valvoline 5/50 fully syn, cured my rattles.

You could always do what i did. Get one of those high level brake lights (with the bendy ajustable mounting thingy)that they sell in halfrauds for about a tenner, and attach it to the underside of the bumper. Fold it down for MOT's and fold it up under the bumper for the rest of the year!

Got to admit that a decat and a boost controller, makes it like having a new car. Best 2 mods i ever did.
