  1. Just remembered 1 thing....it needs 1 MT flywheel bolt. lol joel......if it wasn't for signing 2 amazing contracts for working in China then I'd finish the car, but time is really against me. I've been offered a chance to make a shed load of wonga in China, just got to go for it and make the most of these extremely rare opportunities....its just too good to miss. My partner is right behind me, its going to be strange being away for so long again but I'll be back every few months. Mind you Ive been going to china for a few years so im not a stranger out there. Just a shame to give up so much..
  2. PM's got peeps, You are more than welcome to finish the job off in my unit if you do it quickley. I'll help fit it and also make tea/coffee and tell the occasional joke or 2 :)

Got spare stainless bolts for various parts of the engine bay. It has a stereo fitted which is ok, hardly any use. The car has lambo style LED rear lights and the panel has been blended to the body. Its has a tailgate skin too that needs a tiny tidy up on one corner. The car has been resprayed by rainbowZTT but still needs a flat & polish. Got a spare steering rack too. The interior is blue with tweed. Got all the under trays too. Koyo rad - not even done 500 miles. The spigot has been fitted for the manual box install. The motor has done just over 60k miles and has never missed a beat (prev owner was RainbowZTT), he got the timing belts and 60k service done. The car has been pampered by both of us. Its always been a good starter with no probs. Tubs are in good nick too, no smoke or anything. There is no rust on this car at all. It has been completely sealed underneath. I have just ran out of time to get the car done as I'm moving to China in just over 2 weeks. If i've missed something its gonna be small. The whole lot for £1500 :( I just dont want it getting rusty on the drive. Spent far too much on parts to make my dream motor so wasnt prepared to cut her up for bits (well not yet anyway) :x: Shes had the body work fiddled with as you can see in the pics - would make a great car if finished.
  4. Im in teeside bud, but I will have no time as Im moving to China in a few weeks. Cheers for the offer tho :) Stella....got the pm bud :)
  5. some pics of the outside :)
  6. .....for my zed. The bodywork has been modded and the brakes are rotora slotted & drilled with Axxis composite pads....barely been on the car 500 miles. 1/2 way through manual conversion but running out of time and dont have a spare set of hands to get the box in, so just giving up on it  ....I'm moving to China in around 2 1/2 weeks, wont be back for quite a long time. Cant store it at house as we are planning to sell & leaving it outside wont help...so its time for it to go. Theres plenty of bits n bobs, inc spare sets of 18" alloys with tyres, spare JDM exhausts, 2 spare autoboxes and a manual box etc etc. Conzult etc.....will put a list up later this afternoon. The car had only done around 4000 miles since i got it, been doing it up for best part of 18 months out of the last 2 yrs :( Motor has never missed a beat and has approx 65k miles but converted to uk clocks. Like I said I'll post up all the details later today.....its going to be very cheap to clear it all!!!
  7. YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWNNNNNNNNNNNN he was just a :xxx: in a gay, white suit
  8. i know  the alternative is to just leave it til next year, but that wont do the car any good either :( Who ever ends up with it will have a bloody good motor tho, i'm going to put all the parts, rps clutch, spare alloys, all 3 gearboxes, guages, conzult, brace bars, coilovers etc etc...everything for 2k just to get it shifted....a total waste of ££'s but I just dont have the time anymore to sort it :( I'll be off to china by the end of the month so i've had to make choices that fit my plans...can always get another 1  mind you i wont be that far from japan....might do well to visit an auction out there :) if i can find the time. We'll have to have a :duffer: before i go out there :)
  9. I know the feeling lol Just so many things to do before I even think about the car :) I'm defo gonna sell mine as is :( with the next few years taken up with the chinese stuff I dont think I'll get the time to really do what I want to it....let alone drive it :( You'll prob see it on here this weekend :( Hows it plodding over there?
  10. Happy birthday Paul, U taking the zed out for a birthday run yet? :duffer:
  11. Yep defo give http://www.oneandone.co.uk my vote, I have over 20 websites registered with them and an developers e-shop, never had a prob, been using them for a few years now.
  12. I had my fzr1000 nicked last year so feel for ya bud  Had to pay the same as you to get it back, imho the garages are as bad as the crooks cos they know you want your stuff back so they charge what they like, fookin robbing barstewards. Hope you get it all sorted bud, btw I got a replacement barrel from ebay for under £30.
  13. Dont forget bud....if your putting a manual engine with an auto box, make sure you've removed the manual spigot bearing and fitted the auto one to the end of the crank :D Also you will need to fit the auto flywheel and starter too.
  14. Thats what i did bud, it all just comes out nice n easy.
  15. and while the gearbox is being converted to manual you might want to consider.... New leather interior, wheels, discs, brakes, body kit, underdrive pulley, short shifter, paintjob, alloys, suspension, exhaust, decats and most important of all....extra blingy bits.... :D oh, last and not least...... a nice big, fat, juicy remortgage to cover the expenses :x: :wack:
  16. Z niggles Just take them apart and tighten up any loose buts/bolts :D
  17. It all depends on who you really are. To some peeps...being surrounded by things they've purchased is an expression of who they are and if theyre insecure they'll never have enough.......others are just content to 'be'. To others, me included, to buy freedom from the rat race is what its about. And then you have those who do drugs etc or drown their life with booze....and those who do nothing  we are all equal because 1 rule applies imho......you make your bed...you lie in it. Christ I can talk sh*te on a monday :wack: anyone got a tenner they can lend me :D
  18. That story sounds like a load of bo**ox to me.....well one at least :D
  19. As soon as the box was out we breathed a sigh of relief - we crossed the half way point :hyper:
  20. Cheers greg, all advice very welcome :D I'm going to make sure all the bolts are in good condition with a nice covering of copper grease. I'm converting most of the fasteners to stainless as I go.
  21. We had acces to them from behind the plenum so we'll put them back in and do the job properly :hyper:
  22. What top bolts - I think I lost them somewhere :D :x:
