thanks for info, ive got the polarity right,the led lights up when i switch on the rear demister,but goes out when i switch the lights on,thanks Mark

Many thanks for reply,I have replaced the bulbs with high powered blue leds,the twist in bulbs have a 470 ohm resistor fitted,but the two yellow leds already fitted for rear demister and the fog switch i checked the polarity and just replaced them with 3mm blue leds,fog wont light at all ,more head scratching lol.

Hello everyone,i have a strange problem on my zed rear window heater switch,does anyone no why the bulb that comes on when you switch the de-mister on goes out when you switch the lights on,thanks Mark

yep theres no more fun then keep taking dash out lol,ive just fitted blue leds in pods looks great,only problem now is the led for the rear heater to show its on goes out when you turn lights on,gonna check fuses tomorrow,and engine check light wont work,bulbs fine,theres always something to do lol.

great thread just repaired same piece in my tcu,dash working fine now,saved many hours of getting no where,many thanks mark.

Hiya bob i have the toad ai606 on my zed,and was just wondering if you can tell me how to get it to unlock the boot.I no to use a locking motor and the blue/black wire from alarm,do i need a relay for this to work,many thanks Mark

Thanks for the interest,but i bought car as is ,slowly getting it as i want it ,time and money etc,but slowly getting there.

Thankyou very much for info,rest assured she will be looked after now,when ive sorted out all the bodges,wireing etc.The manual conversion that was done didnt connect up the reversing lights and the engine mount nuts are both missing,and not been under sealed for a while,and the clutch hose was just dangling proper bodgers.It really winds me up why mess if you cant do it in the first place,and if your gonna spend money then do it right,fancy wrecking the engine for no other reason than your stupid ,reving it from cold,his pockets werent that deep judging by the poor work,should have looked after it,i hate zed wreckers.

Many thanks for the info and pics,did you have the engine work done and did you have loads of things wired up,as theres wires every where,ive got interior out at moment sorting wires and things out.The person i got it from gave me the number of who he bought it from,but he wont talk to me for some reason,many thanks Mark

many thanks for reply,but i wanted it to just turn on front fogs so as to be different ,like newer cars just have front side lights on,might just buy some led strips instead ,be easier ,thanks mark

cause you side lights are switched on by your main light switch,so your rear lights would already be on,so as in other cars fog switch should turn on front or rear fogs

i no that thanks all imports are the same ,and fog switch puts on front fogs,side lights front and rear,and rear bumper lights,regardless of ignition on or not.Ive had 3 and all did the same,thats how there wired for some stupid reason,but i just want mine to turn on front fogs only.thanks all

its nothing that cant be sorted ive got plenty of spares from my other 2 zeds and i have access to a garage ,ramp,welder etc and i can do it all myself so not worried,thanks all for your concerns
