Shush we don't mention that, it's a painful distant memory ;) lol :rofl: We have the only set of Speedline fitted to the zed in the world as far as my research tells me! And definately only the 2nd set of polished speedlines in the world so i'm rather happy. The VS Work centre caps are there to confuse people ;) lol

UPDATED 14TH MAY 2008: SEE BOTTOM POST I've been looking back how long it's taken me to get my wheels restored and i found my first post up on the 1st of may 2006! They started off like this soaked in dirt and diesel with one completely bent back on itself (before and after cleaning): The bent one: 160 rusted & seized bolts and 2 days later... And the following January I gave up trying to polish the rims myself and sent them to Paul Sankey in Burton which took a day and £80: And finally 17 months later i've got my arse into gear and he's polished the centers for me as well and worth every penny it was too! £110 including having them stripped and sandblasted first: I was missing one center cap so i got some nice black and gold ones off slick pete. Look gorgeous on the wheels i have to say, Can't wait to get the rubber on them next week and they'll be finished for Japfest at the weekend :)

I'd come down if it's going ahead, had a real hoot last time :D

and take it from me the carbon fibre replicas are actually heavier!

Good work lads, i'll check my vin when i get back and check it against those links. I know there's a place in Loughborough nearby that mixes paint. I'm guessing if i take them the paint codes they should have a database to mix it up to?

Cheers lads, i'll go to hal-frauds and get them to mix some up for me then, i would have thoguht it'd be a straight nissan colour although i wasn't sure with it being JDM spec and an old car

Does anyone have to hand the paint code for the standard silver used on a 1990 silver JDM spec 2+2 please? Also any idea where to get it mixed in the leicestershire area with a plasticizer this week ready for some spraying over the weekend?
