yeah, I don't do many miles in the Z, so I keep an eye on the belt all the time, its easier to inspect that way........

mine has holes in the mounts for the fuel lines and the throttle cable to be routed through...........

look guys / girls.......... Yes its true i've never met shunter..........You've never met me, whats your point ?? So certain people on the forum can say what they like to anyone and insult them in anyway they please, but others have to be careful what they say ?? Yes, I admit what I did ( causing the car to mount the kerb ) was childish and could have caused the chav an injury and i've apolagised to anyone who was offended by my actions... I don't expect people now to carry on saying that i'm gonna get a slap because i'll hide behind my door from no-one, not because i think i'm hard but because i'm not going to be intimidated by anyone, especially over a comment on a forum. AND to clear up a point that you've all got COMPLETELY wrong, the comment was made ( regarding driving on the road ) - " I wouldn't like to come up against you......." for which i replied " maybe its best you don't come up against me !!...." ( again referring to the way I drive ).... So I like driving fast, so I break the speed limits, so my driving style doesn't suit everyone, I can't help that and i'll NEVER express my driving actions on the forum again as it clearly upsets some people. look at the feature on "super unleaded" fuels in this months Bonzai mag, they don't reckon much to Tesco 99RON - take a look, they did a test with an engine on a test bed with different fuels..............

lots of graphics shops are doing these logos now, do a search on the net for an online shop..........

are the centres flat or are they convex ? The reason I ask is that there is a graphics shop by me that will do "bubble" or "raised" wheel centres in any logo, colour or design as long as the surface they are sticking to is flat, they look great. HTH Andy...

so true , although this guy i used to work with had a calibra turbo engine in his, now that was quick, spent most of the time with the engine either stripped or out, but when it was in it went like stink.... ( still shite though, any car that can be linked in any way to a chav or if any 14 year old girl finds it "cool" or "bad", is shite in my book ) - I HATE CHAVS !! - and SAXO'S !!!

weather was too good to miss the chance of a drive, the only down side is that the car is covered in that grey dust that the grit leaves on the road, so its a good long wash and brush up for the Z tomorrow, don't care if its raining as long as I get that stuff off the car...... can't wait til the 19th for the joint meet....... rubber duck lets get ourselves a CONVOY....... ( the best convoy i've ever seen was when I had my cavalier turbo many years ago and I was going to TRAX at silverstone and there were at least 40 novas on the motorway taking up all 3 lanes driving in formation, shite cars but looked real good ).

Took the Z out today for a spin, the 1st time since the end of October, polished the old girl this morning, filled up with Optimax and 5 hours later i'm home - what a car, god i've missed it...... Blew away quite a few cars today : Fiat coupe turbo.... Rover 416 !!!!! - I was in a place called Bridgenorth, about 15 miles from home when i came across this tosser chav with his 12 year old girlfriend in the car with him and he kept swerving over the road so I couldn't pass, so I got in front of him and jammed on the anchors and made him go up the kerb - JOB DONE !!!!! :xxx: went back that way home later and guess what ??? The car was there on the side of the road with a fooked wheel........ 1-0 to me then !!! BMW 330ci Civic type R and had a good rumble with a scooby, but i'm more of a nutter than he was so he chickened out :xxx: Golf GTI - with the most stupid big bore exhaust i've ever seen, sounded like my bike when the downpipe disintegrated !!! Oh what fun, can't wait to take her out again........ i've missed her sooooo much. My missus knows that time has come again where I disappear for hours on end when I go to the shop for bread !!! - you know what i'm talking about. its good to be back Andy...

why don't you run a cable from your reversing lights to the front of the car, then you can tap off it anywhere you like ?? The only other place would be from the reversing light switch on the gear linkage...... easier to run a cable from the rear.... HTH.... Andy..

WHAT IS fwhp ? SORRY IF I'M BEING THICK.......

On mine I have taken the 12V feed from the actual front fog switch, ( spliced into the wire on the plug that goes into the r/h cluster ). So when you turn the front fogs on this supplies the feed for the rear, and when the sidelights are turned on it also supplies a feed to the rear, its on the same circuit. So that I can turn off the rear fogs and just have the front ones on for the "chav, driving around with your front fogs on in perfect weather" look, I have fitted a simple on/off switch to the rear fogs to turn off the supply to the rear when I don't want it. Its simple to do, just run the correct cable from the front fog switch to the inner rear tail lamp and put an on/off switch in a convenient place for you. Mine works fine and i've had it done for ages with no problems, as long as you use the correct cable then you are fine. that is of course the simple way to do it, if you want to have both brake lights working and the fog lights wired up too then i'm not sure what to do. I have fitted a simple rocker switch in my boot so switch between 4 brake lights and no fogs & 2 brake lights and 2 fogs, I NEVER take my car out in bad weather so the switch is set in the 4 brake light position, for the MOT of if I get caught out in bad weather then I can switch it over to 2 brake lights and 2 fogs, thats just convenient and simple to do for me. cheers Andy.
