  4. and me !!! yeovil, somerset
  5. nice example of badly bodged/crap workmanship by previous owners if this was professionally done the welder should be shot !!!! yup new subframe required i know the zed isn't the easiest car to work on but what sorta task in hand is sub frame removal and replacement ??
  6. couple updated piccys to cheer me up to at least prove to myself i am making progress and dont give up haha newly painted tailgate its still a bit flat but better than rusty primer i shall give it another flat and polish z badge poser lol and a fun one to cheer me up. it may not look like ive done a great deal but im really starting to win against the plasti-dip and some of the shoddy previous workmanship just how far should i go ?lol
  7. yeah this is what im finding so many old bodges and bad workman ship from previous owners just gets worse as i dig in further :/
  8. thankyou as it happens ive just been lookig at your stainless bits yo make and sell when ive got the car running properly again could be after some bits including those clutch rests do they work for the auto as well ?
  9. Been really slow progress on the zed as the metro has had to take main stage as a daily seems i have split boost pipes as well as my leaking water pump getting quite peed off with it now just sat there sulking on the drive i have however i have managed to give it a small lick of paint and more orange plasti-dip removal (long process) and have found that wd40 works a treat to break the plasti-dip down with no damage to the paint. This is going to be a slow and boring build thread i think as there seems to be more and more to do every time i look at it, but im sure it will get there as always, its just time and money holding me back . (DONATIONS GRATEFULLY RECIEVED HAHAHA)
