Its is mainly out the arse end to be honest but checking all the hoses is a fair shout!! Water temp sensor causing overfueling issues?? would be easier to replace it i would imagine lol eliminate it straight away

Hiya guys my zed has been running again for 2 weeks or so (yay) but is now smelling very overfuely what should I check ive run a full tank of vpower fuel right through the system and have changed old fuel filter, replaced spark plugs with correct ones oil has been done too where do I go next please?

Had a trip around most of the uk picking up zed parts 4:30am start parts fitted and finished at around 8pm

Well 1st great day with the zed this year!!! New waterpump and thermostat fitted, coolant system flushed through where it had been sitting some other bits and pieces sorted too and a little tidying up done too nothing major to the eye but a job well done she even fired up on the first turn of the key since September!! Happy days :) long live my zed

We I havent physically done anything but ive juat recieved lots of new parts ready to fit and get her ass back on the road cant wait :) then end of the month pick up new tailgate to get rid of the old rusty one :)

ok just need to borrow an auto ecu from someone to check this then cheers buddy

its does it with or without the car running its obviously not running at the moment because of the waterpump being done its like it never stops priming i cant really explain it i dont know where to trace back to or from the pump to check all electrics and lines

still havent resolved this problem ive really dug deep into the engine bay to find out the hiss with no joy ... someone said that previous owner could have done a relay bypass or something anyone shed some light on this theory please ???

well its january and i still have her i havent given up as yet.... im just awaiting new pump as we speak then shes ready for a full service and refit pump thermostat ect then fingers crossed she starts :)

I may break or sell the car now to be honest ive run out of time and money and its really got me Depressed walking passed it on the driveway everyday :( it needs a better home ive spent so much time and money when is the right time to say enough is enough?? :( even has 10months left on mot lol

Yeah I need a zed experienced eye on it as shes really running rough too its all getting over ky head a bit now I love this forum for info but sometimes you need someone who just knows to give her the full over if you know what im trying to say lol

Yeah im replacing it with an oem the company I got the pump from will be footing the bill for new hoses viscous fan and coupling new pump but only with reciepts of course lol

Wasnt oem it was a blueprint one ive been using thier parts for years with no drama and the other day the actual pulley on the pump came off its shaft... Wasnt best please as it sent the viscous fan flying around the bar smashing its self along with the rad and hoses :(
