Always best to buy new, and not from Ebay, :nono: I made the mistake of trying to save a few quid, bought a pair off Ebay, got them fitted and 1 was very sluggish to respond, the other was totally fubared.:headvswal Bought another pair from Z1, got them fitted and no problems at all, other than a bigger hole in my wallet than I was hopeing for. We live and learn.:rolleyes:

Low Boost (around town boost) setting: Gain - 15% (slow and gradual) Set Gain - 0.3bar (only 5psi but you dont need boost pottering around town) Max - 0.35 (no need to go into major boost if you do give it some welly) Warning - L.15% (this Cuts the boost by 15% so will go back to 0.3 your holding boost) Peak - This is the highest recorded boost you have hit Peak On/off - Have it On just so you can see your not overboosting although more for High Boost High boost settings: Gain - 28% (Fast spool up big kick but runs out of puff around 5300 so you dont high rev) Set Gain - 0.8bar (12psi as i dont want to be maxing out my Injectors everytime i boost and Cause everything to go Super Lean and then Bang) Max - 0.9bar (as explained above) Warning - L.15% (will cut me back to 0.8 bar which is reasonably safe) Peak - My highest recorded is 0.97bar and Injectors are Maxed at 1.00 Peak on/off = ON

He does a lot of work on truck gearbox's, but I dont know if he touches Zed gearboxes. HTH

I blew my engine, again :headvswal after a consultation with Jimmer, we decided the way forward. That was: An engine rebuild with 1) forged internals, 2) Nismo 555 injectors, 3) GT525 turbos, 4) AMS exhaust manifolds, 5) stainless divorced down pipes, with new O2 sensors, 6) Profec B2 boost controller, 7) Koyo radiator. I already have Greedy Trust Intercoolers fitted. While this work was under way I had 1) the wheels refurbished and powder coated, 2) the front bumper repaired and sprayed, 3) fitted two new front wings, 4) Fitted Poly steering rack bushes $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ :eek: ?

Like what Stricker said, exhaust gases getting past the pistons and raising the crank pressure. Put the dipstick in, start the engine and watch what the dipstick does. A compression check on all your cylinders would either confirm or elliminate this possible cause.

Jimmy, I had to take my front bumper off to get it into the unit, the ground clearance isnt very good, if it is you next you may have to raise yours to get it into Jimmers unit. (not low car friendly) HTH
