Sonds exactly the same as when I left Fitness First last year, I kept getting letters demanding payment. Once they all realised that I was in the clear, they stopped harrasing me, If you went into the gym and cancelled your membership they should have given you a signed cancellation agreement, If you have this then dont worry, your shit proof.

This happened to me, but more instant, the dipstick being pushed out and oil around the battery indicates that compression is getting past the piston and into the crank, pressurising your sump, the easiest place to vent this build up of pressure is by pushing the dipstick out followed by some oil, it could be your piston rings or a hole in a piston. I would suggest having the compression checked, the bad news is it wont be easy or cheap to fix. HTH

My mistake, there is a smaller motor show half a mile from my house, so I will be going to the nearer one, taking my son.

It Could be a dodgy earth, :eek: I attached the earth lead to a different bolt, and the problem went away. :hyper: HTH
