If the price of fuel keeps going up like it is there will be loads spare regardless of the weather as no-one will be able to afford to fill up. As talking to a BP garage owner yesterday who told me its goin up another 4p a litre in january and he was told by BP to expect his garage to be at 149.9ltr by easter time.

That zx belongs to a guy called mark, hes a member on here. Had a full engine rebuild on it with a few upgrades.

When i change my rear bumper, thats deffinatley gonna be the one i will be going for. Suits the back of car better than nearly any other bumper ive seen. If you really like it then go for it then let everyone know the pros and cons of it.

Would just like to say a big thankyou to tompie ,who altho has been very busy at work this week and was unable to package and arrange a couriour for my new bumper i bought from him, managed to find the time make a 240+ mile round trip out of his way to personally bring it (instead of re-arranging) to me because he didnt want to let me down with the delivery of it on the arranged day. thats what i call top club spirit :bow: So thankyou tom, ur a star mate.

Everyone told me to scrap mne, but regardless of cost its getting put back on road. Too many zeds get broke for the first problem there get. Just got to hope there will eventually rise in there value to reflect just how good these cars are.

Ave been sanding and filling again, but think im at about as far with the shaping as i can achieve. Maybe time to try get a little help of a pro to just help with the finishing touches........... any takers ?????

You can get it in either. Although the rattle can is easier for touching up as you dont need to make the correct mix up that you would do to thin it for a paint gun.

Halfords are a bad match, would stay well clear. I get my paint from a place called autopaint. There make a perfect match for almost any colour code you could think of, and there only £10 a can for proper 2pack paint mix.

Yeah its standard AG2 red.

had a couple of evenings to work on the side skirts blending and sanding, spraying, more sanding and more spraying,lol. have nearly got it to a acceptable shape for my abilities, so gave it a quick spray to give me a image of how its going. rear view: a view from the front: and from the side: not too fussed about the overspray, as ive still another few coats of shultz to go on yet so it will be finished looking proper.

With abilities as good as he's, i wouldnt be surprised. Wish i could get a finish half as good as that.

That looks fantastic, youve obviously got some good skills with bodywork. Am in same process with my side skirts now ,but it doesnt look anything as smooth as you have acheived.

There just dirty, calipers are engine paint red. There are gonna need re-doing again soon tho, after ive serviced them.

after a long wait finally got round to doing drivers side, decided sills are a pain :death:. Not managed to upload some of the pics yet but these will do. Have got some pictures somewhere of just how much had to be cut out( it was a lot). Both front and rear of sill had to be fabricated from scratch. Lots of welding and cups of coffees later and we had it looking something like a car again :cool2: After getting most of the shaping done, i give it a few coats of paint to give me a idea of how it was going to look And then fit the side skirt:
