Have been having a few problems getting my boost to set correctly. So does anyone here have one in your z that you can show a diagram of how you have it plumbed in please. I have it plumbed in as folloes on mine Pressure sensor dirict into balance bar Solonoid has two sides, COM & NO. COM is linked via a t-peice from both Wastgate actuators NO is then linked via t-peice direct to both dump valves. But still even with the avcr set to off(so shouldnt boost above .85bar it will boost to death when it shouldnt go above the .85bar. Have i plumbed anything incorrectly?

I rung my insurance up after i sent autoglass packing. They say they only deal with autoglass but i can get a independant 2nd opinion and they will see what they can do. I will ring a few up over the next few days. Can you post up numbers of people youve used with the prices please, will give me some starting calls to try.

No, he said they would require proof of fixing, ie receipt. As they've now seen it. The window frame is fine tho. Ive cleaned it up and its still red paint under the dirt. I know,there will be a little rust as its 22yr old so its to be expected.

Well it just gets better n better does my car. Get one thing fixed and watch something else brake. So i noticed what started as a little crack on my windscreen and over the last week its grown. So i call my insurance company who arrange for autoglass to come out and replace it. Only when he gets here he tells me that he has the wrong glass. They got a blue window with no top blue visor tint. And then proceeds to look at the window surround and tells me it looks a little rusty in the middle and could take the glass out, but unless i go to a bodyshop and have it repaired there he wouldnt refit it. So i tell him i do all my own bodywork, and i will do the repair and then he can replace the glass. But this isnt good enough for autoglass and he tells me unless its done by a bodyshop they wouldnt refit it. So i told him to be on his way as hes not gonna be touching my zed today. So now i got 2 options 1, find a screen and replace it myself 2, pay out big bucks for bodyshop am so annoyed.

Thats one of the problems, my tyres DO catch the arches over bumps. If carmad can do a set off arches at the right price then maybe a solution :-). But still the ride is rock hard, not comfy at all,lol.(i must be getting old) The wheels are for a toyota and there offset is different to nissan so fit much further out.

Am on two minds what to do. I like how my car handles on the 19" wheels and the hks hypermax coilovers, but now im not gonna be drifting or drag racing anymore i dont really need them on it. So whether to sell them and go back to standard comfy suspension and some 19" wheels that doesnt stick out of the arches. Or get some arch flares and keep it as it is. It may not seem a dilemma but to me it is,lol.

That looks fantastic. Ag2 is a very nice colour on a z, really suits the style better than any other colour.

Stock gauges are useless. Have a look for any boost leaks, any loose connectors. Check your dett sensor plug.

Wow. Not seen these on a factory z before. Are they the motorised ones with the long allen key style bar that adusts the dampers?.

Fix it. Gearbox can be done in a afternoon. dont break a nice zed for just a gearbox.

Yeah. Just want to have it looking nice,again after all the work ive done to it.

An it'll do job isnt for me. It doesnt need to be show winning paintwork, but does want to look like a factory finish if possible.

Just been cleaning the car a little today, but seeing as,its currently 20shades of red from the spraying tidying up the bodywork over the last couple of years it looks like a respray is gonna be called for. Has anyone recently had a respray done?. Im not wanting to change the colour or go for anything fancy, just a simple standard ag2 red respray. Question is how much would i be looking at for a repaint?

Yeah. The motor works, but forgot to replumb the washers bk up on bonnet,lol.

After a couple days of driving the z ive found just a couple of minor issues(nothing that would bring it bk off the road). Got a little smoke from pass exhaust(not all time). Really need to sort out arch clearance issues on bk And need to get window washers working again. Other than that im loving it. Even had to turn down the power as its soo rapid its unreal. So hoping dave(carmad) will be nice with some arches for me :-). So that will be one problem sorted.

charge battery up. Takes alot out of it turning it over.

Thankyou. Cant wait to get it taxed now and get it on the road. Now i can start concentrating on doing the bling and upgrading jobs i put on hold while concentrating on getting it working again. Keith the engine flew thro the emmisions with co emissions allowance of 3.5% and the engine only having less than 0.5% Hc emmisions allowed is 1200ppm and engine gives out 178ppm

Im soo happy, took zed for its first MOT after all the dramas and it passed :-). So just a case of getting it taxed and woohooooooo.
