temperamental water temperature
The radiator cap is brand new, it says 1.3bar. It came with the radiator I've got. will try it tho and see if another one helps any. Cheers bud.

temperamental water temperature
Forgot to add, when cap is removed, the water level has gone down by around a inch from top of radiator. Car runs fine and doesn't seem to have gasket problems.

temperamental water temperature
Got a irritating problem with the car temperature. I get hot air blowing in the car no ptoblems, until occasionally it will blow through cold whilst stationary. I can't see any leaks anywhere. I've filled the radiator upto max, run the car upto temperature and made sure there's no air left in the system. Yet if I stop the engine, remove the rad cap, there's little pressure and the water is only tepid at best. The engine doesn't overheat, but has got upto 90° when it usually sits, around 80°-83°. Any suggestions?

first little breakdown.
Went for a drive down to lincoln to go pick up my new engine rear cover from gonzos. All has been ok(ish) over the last 900miles ive done since putting car back on the road. On way home i got about 10mile from lincoln when i see steam coming out from bonnet and i think the dreaded noooooooo. Turns out the turbo waterfeed hose had split and to try and get to and repair at roadside is not a good thing. Luckily after making a couple of calls i had some help with people bringing me some tools(thankyou gonzo) and water in bottles from my friend mark. 3hrs later from seeing the steam it was all fixed and back on the way home again. Alll i can say is although it was annoying breaking down ,i am howether happy that it was only something small and the z lives to keep going.

stop panic buying petrol
All you people who are panic buying are completely missing the point here, and by doing so are HELPING keep the price of fuel so stupidly high. So please, only get your usual weekly fuel and help reduce the fuel prices by MAKING the goverment lose out on not only the taxes from fuel duty ,but the taxes, from your days wage too(if you cant get to work that is). If everyone did this it would get the point across much better.

broken windscreen
Had the windscreen replaced on friday by a local company who came and did it at home for me. Must of been the cheapest repair on the z ever. £164.40 all in. So question is, where the hell did autoglass get there price of £561.00 just for the glass!!!. While window was out made most of it by tidying up the scuttle panels with a nice few coats of black gloss, so all looks nice and tidy again.

daft question but may settle household argument
Mmmm, reading through this and i thought..... I know what, why not put daft things on the car and use the £££ to get good bits like a intercooler or boost controller :-).

First start problems, need help!
Is there any chance youve refitted the tt flywheel the wrong way round as it would miss the teeth of your starter motor if you have.

zed on ebay at £23k
That car is probably in better condition than when it rolled off the production line. Would love to have a chance of it, but the missus would divorce me(and were not even married),lol.
