  4. I know why we went to war and the reasons behind it, I agree with the war if it helps the people of iraq out. I don't like the fact that OUR goverment and the USA goverment tried to pullthe wool over our eyes in order to justify this.
  5. Iraq was invaded because bushs dad didn't finish the job and didn't get his second term. libyia, north korea, afghanistan, All of these are still jobs not done properly, and yes wars do have to be justified, the fact there were no WMDs means this war was not justified, otherwise our soldiers are sent to their deaths for lies. What happens when they come for you with an unjustified war? I agree with aaron, speculation led to this war, correct justification and reasoning was needed, even if that was "he is a bad man who tried to kill my daddy" Blair made the best slip up over the whole war when he said "weapons of mass distraction" in a speech. what are the odds him and bush had been throwing this joke around for a while?? I agree sadaam needed to go, but I do not agree with the political process that led to the war.
  6. religion may have its bad points, but what about the goodness it brings into some peoples lives?
  7. :eek::eek::eek:
  8. 15 saudi arabians flew planes into 3 AMERICAN buildings on september the 11th 2001 why this was used as justification for our troops to otherthrow sadaam hussein I do not know. Well I do, its political, religion is just a mask, at the end of the day a few people want more power and its the innocents that suffer. It has to be said, saddaam hussein held the country together a lot better than the current goverment, I do not agree with his methods but these countries are not ready for such radical change. It's the men on the ground that suffer, the contractors and soldiers trying to protect and rebuild the country. I wonder what odds you can get on saddam being elected back into power in 12 months time??? Discussion and diplomacy won't sort these people out, they need a gun barrel shoved down their throat, it's the only thing they fully understand. "An eye for an eye, and the whole world goes blind" a the rate of decline in the arab world, there isn't going to be much for us and our children to see very soon :(
  9. got any good scrap steel JD? :D
  10. now i have my new horn fitted, not much pisses me off anymore :D
  11. try clearing your internet cache, may sort it out :)
  12. I had a hole in both of my rear sills around 6 inches long from rust. my body shop charged £140 to have both cut out, welded and resprayed, he did say he should have charged double that at the end though, it really does depend on how severe your rust is however, but it is possible to replace the sills without undertaking serious restoration.
  13. very confusing, all of the roads in my area are named after places in Somerset, I live off of Bridgewater Drive near a road called Taunton Avenue. bit of worthless information for you,
  14. Burnout 1 still has a raw feel about it, you had to squint to see into the distance as well lol. Burnout 3 has taken ps2 gaming to the edge now, I was seriously amazed it looked as good as it does.
  15. anyone else playing this currently? it probably the best arcade racer ever, (apart from burnout 1;))

  25. okay my car has done 120,000 miles, I've owned it since 98,000 miles, in that time I've replaced the Master Brake cylinder, clutch and startermotor, at a cost of around £1000 over 2 and a half years. A previous owner had the car and at 60,000 miles the lower engine was replaced (all pistons and block) and new turbos were fitted at a cost of around £6,000 You will have to use your eye when looking at these cars, perhaps take another member along with you, and look at the service history and how much of an enthusiast they are, will they ignore problems? or do they get them fixed quickly. I bought mine in 2002, it took me 6 months to find and cost me £6500, With these cars noone can offer you a guarentee as to them not blowing up 3000 miles down the road if they have been mistreated.
