Yeah, mine was due 1st of december, though was if i got it done now and failed I could at least fix any minor problems before it ran out :D was bit of a spur of the moment thing really, I used an independant MOT testing place, I feel much more comfortable using one than someone who can fix "failures" IYKWIM
