  1. not wearing a seatbelt to be cool is ridiculous, I feel naked without one, but then again, not wearing one, you are the only one whos gonna end up with brains smashed in,
  2. surely you want to know where all your tax money is going to end up ;)
  3. I hear he puts his own special blend of herbs and spices in
  4. its because you are more likely to have an accident whilst on the phone than by driving slightly over the drink drive limit. you could aruge it but you'll end up getting a 70quid fine instead heh.

when he hits that wolf with the hammer as it puts its hand through the letterbox it cracks me up everytime. was a good film, I don't usually watch chiller/horror movies though, dont find them that interesting,
  6. **** man :( glad you are okay though, at the end of the day you havnt hurt yourself or anyone else, metal can be repaired, gutted for you though

  8. yup nancy sinatra - these boots are made for walking excellent film, anyone wanna guess where it was filmed :)?
  9. im in southend and was thinking of buying one. I don't mind testing yours as long as its not likely to blow anything up :)
  10. $$$ files will probably be temp files. all you cna tell from general protection faults is that something is wrong, usually fixed by reinstalling the programme or windows
  11. go for a revision 2 if you want fun and revision 3 if you want stability I believe is the way to go, rev3 has LSD, I've been in my freinds NA and we've fallen off of roundabout a few times. lovely cars though and not prone to many problems if you get a goodun
  12. see ya in my rear view mirror then nelson lol
  13. why not just remove the cylinders before long journeys? thus saving mass and making you even more economical!!!
  14. If you edited your windows hosts files please reset them, there will be more DNS changes in the coming weeks and your hosts files will conflict with them.
  15. you can import them from japan :) non-inflatable though, like a big teddy bear, im trying to get ahold of one
  16. im not doing it all on my own, me and craig spent considerable time last week sorting out the new server :) the weetabix does help as well, do you want me to try and get ahold of a weetabix doll for you paul?
  17. Yes the server needs to be reinstalled at least at the moment, then we need to run tests on it for at least a week to make sure it copes with the load and isn't a hardware problem, The network is also going through a state of change which im working hard on at the moment, and will mean an IP change, so once these elements are all in place we will have 300zx.co.uk operational on its own hardware again, at lesat now we have a backup server if something happens again :) It gives me an excuse to drive up and down the a13 at 150 mph ;) the e-mmidiate future looks stable for 300z.co.uk though :)
  18. I have never lost to an M3 off the lights, and ive raced to speeds from standing start of up to 140mph ive never trounced one but ive always been a good distance ahead, even once when i ****ed up change to 3rd gear. they are wicked machines though, id love to own one one day,
  19. Are your AIVs blocked? some people pass the emission tests by disconnecting an 02 sensor http://www.300zx.org.uk has more details and ive never tried it
  20. I only ever go as far as isle of dogs really, traffic is usually okay on a13 up until dagenham flyovers, My town has discussed it as well i hear, it already costs a fortune to drive your car and they introduce more taxes.
  21. fuel leaking onto engine is quite major :) well you will think so when the fire brigade are scraping your ahses out your cockpit.
  22. 1) Import insurance is higher, depends on age though, 25+ and you will be better than a 21 year old. One with a turbo timer would be handy, but i don't have one and still respect my turbos my letting her cool down. 2) most stuff you would look for on most cars. When the engine is running it should sound like a sewing machine with a beuatiful purr, any knocking then walk away. Also look for smoke under boost and under idle it could mean problems down the line. Check transmission is fine and do a ECU diag, http://www.300zx.org.uk has details on doing this. 3) £40 of petrol will get you just about 200 miles, if you get it serviced at a garage then expect to pay around £500 a year for servicing before anything goes wrong, if something goes wrong expect bills in the £20 - £3000 range. You need to service every 6 months and i try to change my oil every 4000 miles. Buying is cheap, maintaining is costly.
