Nasty. Z has lots of flat horizontal lines at the rear, breaking them up with round shapes makes it unpleasing to the eye generally, not to mention the above is just tacky junk.

I've seen it done on standard rims....personally don't like it at all. Anthracite would be nice, but black not. From a distance, the car looks like it's running around on steel wheels. They loose their definition.

I'm not as miserable as I appear on here...those that know me know I'm a little bit crazy and wierd. :) I find happiness in other thinks. Find xmas really fake and forced, that's all.

It's very very shallow, so is full with the targas in.

Are we going to have one this year? All of the traders I've used on this forum have been excellent. Smithy, Danny etc. But, I'd like to nominate Mike Feeney for the pure volume of random odds and sods, for not just my engine rebuilt parts but for all the bits of obscure trim, clips and badges etc....service has been impeccable. Even now at Christmas when the post in on a go-slow, stuff still turns up on time. MJP Auto never seems to fail to deliver. :duffer:

No, not really. It just bores the living daylights out of me, the whole thing. Over indulgent cheesy pagan festival for the money Gods. Sure, you get some time off and chance to go out with mates, but I do that mostly in the summer when the weather's nice.

Deffo bottom ones. Top ones, spokes are too curved. Doesn't make the dish look as aggressive.

Don't forget the two bolts at the bottom corners of each side and tops of the corners and all the little plastic expanding rivets that hold the base of the skin to the rear panel at the bottom.

Yup, Richard Hammond driving past.....or rather me driving past him. I waved and a nod was returned. So managed to scribble on a bit of paper 'Glad you're better!!' in large writing......managed to get along side and stuck it to the window on the passenger side. A pap of the horn and a wave and a flash of the headlights from him and some grinning from me. He'd pulled on at the Chippenham turning and was heading towards London for Top Gear filming I guess. Made my Thursday. :)

TBH, many UK cars have in excess of 100K and the leather in them is worn or cracked. I wasn't bothered about getting leather as I want mine retrimmed anyway. Only newer series 3 and 4 (J-spec) tend to have leather that's in decent condition really.

99-spec all the way. Smooth looks nice, but IMHO, boot skin looks nicer if you're going smooth. Otherwise, 99-spec is the nicest OE type spoiler. Kicks the back end up, but doesn't look OTT.

I got tyres fitted to my recon Advan rims there and a new set of very thin wheel nuts. They were very good. Took very good care of the wheels and last week I went down there to get a box to send one of my rims away (crack repair) and they took it from me and wrapped the wheel up for free. Helpful guys IMHO.
