  1. Oh dear. I do hope you're joking.
  2. I've seen women wear those seats out in Bridgwater.....that a Jimmy Hill inspired front bumper?
  3. Oh dear. What a revolting abortion.
  4. Already been done bud. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=83614&highlight=myspace
  5. I'd go on the premise of about £400 - £500 worth of labour to do both + paint, bumper and materials. About a day and a half's work.
  6. That car's been up on ebay quite a few times. Not sure if that's a bad thing or not.

Damn shame you're not going Dave. I'm 75% sure. But as always, will end up doing everything last minute! LOL
  8. I take my wheels off to clean round the inside every time I clean the car, so wheel nuts are always checked for tightness. :)
  9. The car is tomevo's Z. Bomex stuff is import only I think. But speak to Danny at DTA, he usually knows someone in the know.
  10. How about this? Not quite as nice as the Kaminari, but I still like it. Bomex rear I think.
  11. UK and JDM targa blinds are a slightly different shape and size.
  12. Is there much point in buying a minter if you're going to rip it apart to put a wide arch kit on it? Also, are you going to find a Z with a wide arch kit on it for sale? Seldom see them come up for sale. IMHO, as yours needs doing bodywork to it, it's almost ideal to get a wide arch kit fitted to it. The engine issue, if the ex-trader that sold you the engine pulls his finger out of its arse and gives you some remittance in view of buggered engine, then you'll be able to make a headway with that. I've also not seen a sapphire blue wide arch Z before and think it would look pretty stunning.
  13. Have you tried cleaning up the terminal contacts? Is the battery actually holding the charge?
  14. Seen it before and like the look of it. Seems Mitsubishi are moving away from the ugly cheap and tacky looking bodykits of the 5 and 6. Looks neat and also aggressive with the sleek headlights and angry grille. I'd still never buy one...or any other Evo for that matter. If I want a car with that sort of performance, I'd get something low, sexy and exotic looking.
  15. Interesting that the last two are US publications... ;) Interesting read the first one is.

IMHO, I can't think of why a V6 turbo megolith would be practical. A TD with decent amount of torque would be far better. My mate sold his SWB shogun that he used for pulling a trailor with his Motorbike on. Even with a diesel, he said the thing drank fuel. Don't really see a point in a twin turbo petrol version.

What I mean is, work it the other way around. Get a diesel shogun and a ZTT. Is there really much fun in trying to do a hard launch in a quagmire?

Just as well buy a ZTT
  19. Rims are Manaray Sport MS-O6.
  20. Looks like something's eaten into the metal itself rather than it just being tarnished. Brillo pads and such like will scratch it and induce deep swirls. Personally, wouldn't EVER put that stuff near it. I'd do a multi-stage repair on that, although not sure it would correct the finish. Firstly, get some Megs 2k and 3k WD. Leave it to soak in some soapy water. First start with the 2k and gently rub the metal to see how the surface comes up. You should be able to feather back the dead finish. Once you've got some dullness back, have a go with the 3k. Dry off and have a go at the fresh metal with some Autosol. It's a fairly mild cut, but you should remove any of the light swirls from the DW, You might need to work quite hard with the Autosol after WDing. Once you've gotten some shine back, I'd attack it then with 'Brilliant' stainless polish. It's a lighter polish that should take a lot of remaining swirls and give a deeper shine. Should get rid of any dullness. Can't say for sure if this would work, but IMHO, would be the best route to go.
  21. That's a shame. Think your skirts are quite nice actually. Certainly more attractive than the Veilside.
  22. Like this? This is just how Zs should be done. No stickers, no ugly bits of bodykit. Just a crisp well kept Z. Has that B/B 3" twin slash cut exhaust that I lust after as well! Spoiler is Kaminari Type II Rear Spoiler....this what you'd class as 'duck tail'?
  23. IAM doesn't teach you the vertues of RWD though.
  24. If you think it's bad on land, think how bad it is at sea. I've just been on one of our ships that's just berthed and it's absolutely dreadful out there. I've just had to arrange another tug to steady the vessel while it's sat at berth. This thing's over 30,000 tons worth and it's being dragged about like a toy boat in a bath.
