Not especially. If you want power like that, then go for it. Personally, I don't like the look of them and the dash is horrible. Would sooner have a nice R33 GTR instead. Nothing really draws me to the Supra. But then again, that's my opinion.

Were the wheels you were thinking made by ASA? They make nice dished rims. A subsiduary of BBS, so most likely decent quality. Here's a few to tempt you.... obviously when ordering, check PCD, offset and get 8.5" fronts (with 245s) and 9.5" rears (with 285s) IMHO, think the following would look good on a tidy car. ASA FR7 ASA FR5 ASA W26 Rial Daytona Race OZ Galelio 3 Hamann PG3, these won't be cheap! BBS RX2 (prefer the LM, but those are crazy moneY)

99-spec rear spoiler is about £1,600 from Nissan. But there's a chap out in California who makes replica versions. Either in fibre glass or carbon fibre. I was over in San Diego last year and met up with him. I bought a carbon fibre one from him. I paid about £220 for it (I think), mailed it back to myself for about $60...(£30) and paid about £60 worth of duty on it. So that equates to around £320 all in. 99-spec front bumpers from Zcentre are about £250 iirc.

£2k may get you a set of new 2 peice splitties....probably without tyres. Unfortunately, the range of split rims you get over here is somewhat limited. Might be worth your while with that budget, to buy a second hand set with the option to get them reconditioned....or even a very very good condition used set. One of my favourite wheels on the Z are work equip wheels. Doubt you'll be able to get a set over here, but I've got Advan Siena Generation II. They are about £3k new without tyres. I managed to get them for the fat price of £0.00. They needed a refurb, but didn't need repairing.

As in 2 peice wheels? I like the viper spoiler, but reckon you should go 99-spec rear spoiler. Still kinda rare and since yours is midnight purple, will look like a genuine 99-spec....?

Budget?

The threat of increased tax on anything over a 2.0 is been on the cards for about 5 or 6 years now I think. To be honest, if they did increase it by that much, it would most likely be on new cars. Can't see even our government penalising people who hadn't made a decision to purchase under a higher tax bracket to that extent.

Stock turbos can run up to about 16 or 17 PSi I think?? But the intercoolers let it down and I don't think the stock injectors can cope with that boost. But they are at their most efficient at around 14 - 15 PSi on stock ICs and injectors etc.

The pearls are nice, but that depends on the lighting. In certain lights they can look a little drab, but a good polished clear coat makes them a little more eye-catching. The pearl colours really come into their own in the sunlight, especially at dusk and almost glow.

Just wondering as I can't think of any. Would have said Spongey's, but his was resprayed from a red car. Just wondering who has an original pearl white TT 2+2 manual? ...ie came from the factory in pearl white and is still pearl white.

IMHO, I'd only get out of the car unless they ask you. They could sight it as an aggressive move.

Cheers guys. Gonna be getting HIDs soon. Worried they'll not fit under the nose panel as I'm running stock induction. Dave, looks like there's some room above those air intakes. (under headlamps). But it's just whether the wiring will reach? I guess that depends on what kit you get and how generous the manufacterers are with the length of cable they supply.

...and if you think it's bad over here, you should try driving the thing on the continent. I took mine over to France last year for a wedding and more people were stopping and looking at my car than the enterage including the bride and groom in a horse drawn carriage etc. EVERYONE was staring at it. "belle voiture" was all I kept hearing. Felt like I was driving a Ferrari the attention it got. Those others who've driven their Zeds on the continent will know what I mean.

Sorry to bump this, but it saved writing another thread as I do actually use the search engine. Can you fit those to the underside of the headlight without having to remove them? IE, slide them in from underneath with bumper removed?

....looks like you need a new perspex strip mate. Yours has gone purple. Then of course a sexy set of 99-spec rears. ;)
