Budget?[/quote

Up to around 2k, i saw a nice set one a red zed here once think they where one piece called aztec or something!

£2k may get you a set of new 2 peice splitties....probably without tyres. Unfortunately, the range of split rims you get over here is somewhat limited.

Might be worth your while with that budget, to buy a second hand set with the option to get them reconditioned....or even a very very good condition used set.

One of my favourite wheels on the Z are work equip wheels.

Doubt you'll be able to get a set over here, but I've got Advan Siena Generation II. They are about £3k new without tyres. I managed to get them for the fat price of £0.00. They needed a refurb, but didn't need repairing.

Were the wheels you were thinking made by ASA? They make nice dished rims. A subsiduary of BBS, so most likely decent quality.

Here's a few to tempt you.... obviously when ordering, check PCD, offset and get 8.5" fronts (with 245s) and 9.5" rears (with 285s)

IMHO, think the following would look good on a tidy car.

ASA FR7

ASA FR5

ASA W26

Hamann PG3, these won't be cheap!

BBS RX2 (prefer the LM, but those are crazy moneY)

Hey thanks for that.

No they were a similar name to that and either a 5 or 6 spoke and had a very deep dish, its a 5 or 6 spoke that im really after and somthing that will suit a wide arch kit when i get around to getting it done!

Cheers again :duffer:

Just found the name its Azev!! :nana2:

Oh Azev! Yes, lovely rims, you can't go wrong with those....few of our members have those, Mac, RichardSmith and greg's old Z....

Thats the very ones there that i liked, very nice rim!

Where do u get them anyone know and wot price?

Looking through an old thread of Gregs, he paid around £1500 all in (although might cost you more as greg ordered 8.5' all round...tooooo narrow for the rear... and they sent him 10" rears.....which is what he should have ordered anyway... ;)). Tis a single peice rim, but think they are cast rather than forged. Not a problem though as they are good quality. His rears were 10" wide BTW.

Not sure where you're based, but you could get them from here. You do have to pre-order them.....with a wait!

Thanks for that, it was the m's that i had liked but i see liked the a's at the time too are both a straight bolt on fit or do you have to do some alterations?

Think they are straight fit. Because they are made to order, I think they come in whatever you specify.

....make sure you do order stagered widths...ie 8.5 front 9.5 or 10" rear....looks best IMHO. Would look wrong with all the sames widths.

Also, make darn sure you get some photos up when you do fit them!!!!!

Hey thanks for that ive a e'mail sent and all, will let you know how i get on when i get a reply.

Now have to get a nice set of brakes to sit behind them sorted out, do you know wot size of disc you can go up to on standard caliper?

Cheers

You can get big brake conversion kits which include a carrier spacer for the caliper and a larger diamer disk.

Smithy does them http://www.smithys-place.co.uk

Get some similar looking rear disks as well ie, grooved/cross drilled or both to match the fronts. Nothing worse than seeing a car with really nice new front rotors with grooves etc and stock rusty rear ones.
