I agree with Vin. I've lost interest in bothering too much about prices anymore. Believe that you still need to part with about £4k - £5k to obtain yourself a top condition TT Manual though. But I've got the car now, I've spent a load of wonga on it, I'm not interested in selling it for another few years, so couldn't really care. It'll probably be worth bog all when I come to sell it. But it should sell quickly as it's a clean honest looking car.

I've just had a look at national express and their coach fares are £38 return....not just that, but believe it or not, the coach is 5 minutes quicker to LHR from Bristol than the train is!! UK rail network is a joke.

I don't use the railway network very much. Whilst I don't mind traveling by train, I only tend to use it to get to airports etc. I'm off to Chicago next month and have just tried to get a price on a return ticket from Bristol to London....nothing mega, a relatively short 2hr trip. £154 return!!! I mean that's absolutely insane. How can the rail network justify this? It's criminal! Not to mention the fact that the government and all the greeny meanies are trying to tempt all of us out of our cars and onto public transport. I'm quite happy to use public transport....but those are NOT public prices. /rant PS...if anyone lives close to Heathrow and wouldn't mind me parking at/near theirs for a week, please give me a shout. :)

Kinda agree, in much the same way as I'm sure that there are older owners who give their cars absolute death and take it right to the limits on every drive. Whereas I open the car up occasionally, but prefer to cruise in it rather than use it as a street-machine.

Technically, 3/4 sized plates are not illegal. The only stipulation is font and spacing. Nothing is mentioned about size.

I speak to a lad out in New Zealand. He's 17 and owns/runs a 300zx Twin Turbo. Mad isn't it. But hey, he has hd the car for a year, been driving it since he was 16...the legal age to drive in NZ and he has a level head on his shoulders and doesn't drive everywhere like a muppet.
