Retrimming
Seats Galore near Southampton are good. So too are Krytch trimming in Bristol. I've used both for other cars and was happy with their level of service.

Don't you love it when something that you think will cost a lot of money to repair...
Car hire in California I think... lol Actually no, I'm putting away a little bit each month in readiness for this... plus I also want to get the bumpers resprayed at the end of the year as there's a few marks and blemishes I'm not happy with. Plus black roof pillars... [ Plus this lot.... Been recommended them by quite a number of people and as you can see PJ uses them too. Not seen any of their stuff first hand, but have heard nothing but praise by people.

What rear bumper is this?
...certainly wouldn't work with my exhaust and would reluctantly fit a custom twin square slashcut box either side...bit like that fitted to the Lotus Carlton.

What rear bumper is this?
Yeah, it is a shame that. It just got me thinking that was all. If I was to fit a kit to my car, as I've described and with that rear apron, it would look really nice.

What rear bumper is this?
Yeah, it's not cheap. But it's nice looking and suprisingly subtle compared to the skirts and front bumper. One would hope that it would be made of plastic as opposed to fibreglass.

...sure there's someone on here with that kit....hmmmmmm, Gumball3000 has the front bumper iirc. Not keen on the skirts, but that back bumper with Stillen sides and Type 3 front bumper extension would look amazing IMHO. Impressed that there's a UK supplier as well. Certainly by far and away the nicest aftermarket rear apron you can get for the Z.

Funk me! Nice one Carlosfandango. Have indeed heard of 'explosion' kits for the Z as well.

Yeah, was quite chuffed they were honest enough to give it a thorough check over in that fashion.

lazor detectors
PMSL! Even the yanks don't spell it like that. Actually it's not really to do with spelling. Laser is in actual fact an acronym for Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation. If you want to spell it 'ztimulation' for Zed purposes then it 'could' work. lol

These manifolds look nice
They do look nice. Shame you'll not be able to see much of them. Good price too with the exchange rate the way it is.

...ends up costing a tenner! I've had a nasty rattle coming from the centre box of my beloved Veilside exhaust system. Pretty loud and was starting to do my head in! I had thought it was a baffle in the centre box that had somehow broken away from its welds. It was terrible when cold and as the car warmed up would get less. Now, this had been going on for some months now. Had the car up on the ramp, managed to narrow it down to the centre box after giving it a thwack with the palm of my hand. Anyway, had it all booked into Infinity Exhausts to have the centre boxes replaced, like-for-like (sound wise). Up on the ramp, guy asks me, "are you sure it's not the cats?". "No I said, it's definately coming from the centre boxes". To which he said "Mmmmm, something's telling me your centre boxes are fine". So he starts the car up again and has another fiddle around underneath. "Not your centre boxes mate, they're fine, it's this...!". It turns out that the little bracket that acts as a brace between the two boxes had split. One had come away and was rattling on the outside of the box. So it was re-welded (better than Veilside!) and now it is back to being nice and rattle free...and stronger. :) £10 was duly handed over and was on my merry way! Saved me £180 anyway! LOL Not to mention having a "that is one clean 300zx" comment passed to me as well. :)

lazor detectors
Apologies, I was getting confused with laser jammers. Why does everyone keep calling them 'Lazer'?

lazor detectors
What's a Lazor? ;) Laser detectors are illegal, but what they do is pick up the radio signal that the system the police are using....more information here... http://www.beatthespeedtrap.co.uk/

What rear bumper is this?
I know it's possibly a lip. But it's not a modified lip. It's a lip extension like Stillen, Kaminari, etc.

What rear bumper is this?
No, IMHO, it's off the shelf. Strange that 2 cars have identical ones fitted on different continents. I've seen it before on another one too.
-
What rear bumper is this?
No one seems to know what it is. I've asked on the US forums, Mr.F doesn't know either. Shame as something like that is so inkeeping with the car. There's not enough subtle stuff on the market IMHO.

That top bumper is about the only one I've really warmed to. I like the Kaminari, love the standard one smooth and 'quite' like the Stillen one, but prefer not to have the exhausts enclosed in plastic...which is why I like the above. Really neat looking, understated and has an OEM feel to it....along with the below it would look stunning... These skirts.... ....and this front extension....

Found this bumper
Finding a place to put the indicators, side lights and foglights....ie there is nowhere.
-
What rear bumper is this?
That with Stillen skirts and Stillen Type 3 front bumper extension would just look perfect IMHO....kinda considering it if I could find a source for the above.

Comediens! Here's a better pic...

rear fog light switch
It's the same as the jspec's foglight switch. Jspec has front foglights only, UK spec has rear foglights only. They both use a common switch.

Silly things you believed when you were a kid?
I foolishly believed in the existence of Santa Claus. Also, TV's that were just picking up interfierence with no signal/input would blow up if they were left on too long.

Found this bumper
"Manufactured in fibreglass" Nothing to be proud of! lol ;) Kinda like it too actually. Suits darker cars more though IMHO as do most larger mouthed bumpers.
